Hello again!  I loved my MFT Poinsettia die so much that I had to use it again.  This time I used the Fusion Card Challenge and chose to work off of the sketch.

A little glitter cardstock gave my card the added sparkle I was looking for.

Season's Greetings

Wow!  It's been two months since I posted last.  To be quite honest, I haven't felt much like stamping the last several months. If it weren't for the need of some Christmas cards I would probably not have made a card. It took me a few minutes working on this card and then it all came back to me. 

I saw the sketch on the MFT blog and wanted to use my pretty Poinsettia die-namics.  I went rather simple and flat to ensure I would only need one stamp.  ;)

Retro Sketches 136

Two posts in one week!  Can you believe it?  School was canceled today due to a water main break outside of the building, so I decided to head to my craft room and create.  I pulled out my MFT stamps, found a sketch and color combo that inspired me, and got busy.

 No patterned papers were used on this card.  The pink chevron pattern was stamped using a patterned stamp.

Melissa always has the prettiest color palettes on her blog.  I love purple, almost as much as pink, but you can never find purple patterned papers.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 240

Hello!  I have a card to share that I made Sunday afternoon while crafting with my friend, Marsha.  She's a Stampin' Up demo and always shares her stamp goodies with me.  For this card I went with several layers on the flowers.  Let's just say that I used a good bit of foam tape.  Ha!

With the card laying down, you can see all the layers on the flowers and sweet little butterfly.  The card base is popped up using foam tape as well.

Four Feathers

Hello again!  At least it's only been 19 days since I posted last, instead of a full month.  Ha!  Last weekend I had a fun time crafting with my sweet friend, Marsha.  She is a Stampin' Up demo and was kind enough to share her new goodies with me.  I created this masculine card using some of her new stamps and dies.

This fabulous stamp set is called Four Feathers and it has matching Framelits dies that made this card super easy to put together.  You can find the links to these products at the end of  Marsha's blog post HERE.  I don't recall the colors used for the feathers.  If you are interested, you can send her an email and I'm sure she would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Get Well Soon...take care of yourself

Wow!  It's been over a month since I posted last!  I can't believe how fast the summer has come and gone.  School has started back and I am back to working.  With the beautifully, mild summer we had, I didn't have the desire to coop myself up in my craft room.  I did however, want to make a card for a co-worker who is in the hospital.  I was shocked at how fast this card came together.  With the awesome sketch at MFT, this was a breeze to create.  

I searched for a card in my stash to give, but they were all too girly and I was in need of a masculine card.  This color palette seemed to be manly enough, in my opinion.
