Get Sketchy Challenge #12

I enjoy a good cup of tea just about any time of day or night.  That is what inspired me to make this card.  A cup of Chai is my favorite then Green Jasmine would be my next.  There is a store here in the mall called Teavana.  The blend I get is the Samurai Chai Mate with White Chai Ayurvedic.  You can order online too.

I used the Nook and Pantry paper from Basic Grey along with the stamp from Hero Arts.  I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Pearl) on the flowers to give them some sparkle.  If you havent used this stuff before you have got to try it.  Word of advice....dont hold the item you are spraying.  Lay it on something and then spray.  I now have red fingers from holding a flower.  It wasnt even one I ended up using.  My fingers are stained now.  Well I guess I learned the hard way.

Sewing Projects

I got my sewing machine back out after 5 years of being in the closet. I love to sew but was having many problems with the bobbin. Between my neighbor and my Mother-in Law it is now fixed. I got these 2 projects at my local fabric store. They were just a panel project. I now know how to make them all on my own without the pattern. These are just a couple of many to come sewing projects.

Haloween Cards

I finally got my Halloween Cards finished. I have to get them in the mail tomorrow. I found this really cute Making Memories paper and embellishments. I also made a Thanksgiving card as well.

Things To Do

I have too many projects I want to get accomplished. I have Christmas stockings, vintage aprons, totes, and many Christmas gifts to make. I REALLY want to learn how to quilt. It is driving me crazy. My mother-in-law makes the most beautiful quilts and table runners, even wall hangings. I am so jealous. I will get them all accomplished. Time management will be something for me to work on.

Halloween Treat Bags

I made these treat bags for the kids in my sons class. I used the Cricut and cut out the scallops and circles on fit to page mode to get the most cut at one time possible. I stamped the pumpkin on the cream cardstock and adhered it to the scalloped circle. I then cut a 4x4 in square out of black cardstock for the top of the bag. The paper is DCWV. I enjoy making special treats for the kids. Soon he will be too old for me to do things like this. That makes me vary sad to think about.
