I have 8 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch pieces of Making Memories paper, ribbon, and lots of embellishments. I used some of Regina's The Cutting Cafe' images for the scalloped tags and the Bingo card. I love her stuff. I cant forget...a bottle of my favorite Martha Stewart glitter.
I had to take another picture because I forgot to put the bingo card in.
The picture of the bag didn't take very well. I am sure someone will be able to make some beautiful cards or special projects with these goodies. Good luck and thanks so much again.
everything looks fabulous and love that bag....hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
ReplyDeleteI just found you and I am so happy I did! Your giveaway is fabulous and I'm going to post a shout out to your blog and giveaway on The Vintage Moth. Have a lovely day!
xoxo~
Abbie
Hi, Heather. I just found your blog from Abbie's. I think your cards are beautiful, and the patterns are a brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteAs to advice aobut writing a blog, I would say that you should write whenever you have something to say, and don't write when you don't have something to say. I think a lot of bloggers feel pressue to say *something* on a regular schedule. Waiting until you are truly inspired will insure that visitors always get something meaningful out of their vist.
Good luck with your blog!
Pam
Heather, I am a new blogger also and found you thru Vintage Moth.
ReplyDeletePlease add me to the drawing and maybe check out another new blogger, me.

Oh hey, count me in girl. Looks like you are off to a good start. I have found it a bit tricky for some reason to get links to work in Blogger. If you create them in HTML rather than compose mode they seem to work. I hope that is helpful. Congratulations on your blog. Thank you, Robin
ReplyDeleteGreat start with the give away. I just got started as well. Best of luck!
ReplyDeletehi Heather! i found you from Abbie at the Vintage Moth. your site is great! i'm also in iowa, near iowa city. :)
ReplyDeleteHi,

ReplyDeleteNice blog! I just found it through abbie's. :) happy one month blogiversary! :)
ReplyDeleteMy best tips would be not to neglect your blog, post often, freshen it up often, and post pics. :)
Hi Heather!
ReplyDeleteI also arrived from the Vintage Moth, Abbie is a real sweety, very attentive and generous. I love your blog, very femenine and pretty.
I have a blog to share pics of my work and I'm Not an expert, but I agree that posting often keeps your blog interesting :)
Thanks for the giveaway, the items look yummy!

Hi Heather! I found your blog on Vintage Moth. I enjoy reading artist's blogs and thought I would share with you some of the things that I enjoy seeing. Good, clear pictures are great and certainly aided by good clear journaling. Some of my favorite bloggers are generous. They share their art and ideas as well as passing on links to other great art. And, well...I can be a bit of a sucker for a fun give away as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch. I am enjoying your sketches followed by sample and then detail format.
Gorgeous tags, Heather! Congrats on your new blog! My best tip is to have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteFor a beginning you are rocking! I love your blog - just keep posting your awesome work and people will come!
ReplyDeleteHi, found you thru Abbie's and am so glad. I love your background here; it's beautiful! I'm almost to my 100th post but have just picked up some followers in the last couple of months. Visit other blogs and leave comments often. That gets return visits and you will meet the most amazing people. I don't post as many pics as I should but I agree with mamakat's idea to share ideas and techniques and other blogs that your readers might find interesting. If you come across a site you like, post about it. That gets a conversation started and leads to friendships and collaborations and who knows what else?! Have a great time and I look forward to visiting with you often. Oh yeah, please count me in the giveaway. The goodies look divine!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary:) I love your work:) Thanks for the goodies and giveaway:)
ReplyDeleteHere's a tip ~ Always remember to fill in the "labels" box underneath each post. You will be amazed how some people find you through that! Your blog looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi happy anniversary and what a beautiful giveaway. I too found my way here via Vintage moth. Please enter me with a chance to win

ReplyDeleteoh just another tip worth mentioning all lot of the others who offer Blog Candy or giveaways ask that in order to enter you must become a follower. And i think this really works i have become a follower of blogs i wouldnt normally due to a candy and ended up really enjoying the future posts and becoming a faithful follower and regular commenter too. so its worth a try
I, too, found your blog thru Abbie's blog. Love your style!! Very nice giveaway, too! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHello Heather - my goodness you seem to have this blogging 'lark' all sorted out yourself, sadly I can't think of anything else that hasn't been said or that you haven't mastered already - hope that doesn't disqualify me from your wonderful and generous draw.
ReplyDeleteI have got lots of inspiration from your blog - and am now a follower so that I can get regular updates when you post - and can leave you more comments.
Congratulations on such a beautiful blog and your art work is amazing
Lottie

First, totally awsome giveaway! Please enter me.
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for a year, actively for a couple of months. I've just found that I need to be myself, type like I'm having a conversation face to face with someone, and just share my finds, creations, joys, tears, etc. Whatever strikes my fancy, you'll read about it.
I post about giveaways, site's I've found that are great (I list the links on my sidebar), crafters/hobbist that create wonderful items.
Just be yourself.
Smiles!

What a pretty blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at the nice giveaways!
I think to have a successful blog, you need to be a good visitor yourself, leaving comments. I joined a few weekly groups-like Photo Hunt and that helps me.
Good luck!!

ReplyDeleteThe only suggestion I could give you is to post as often as you can - I need to take a dose of my own advice, actually!
Enjoy yourself and if you get a minute please stop by my blog and say "hi"!
warmly, Jan

hello Heather
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog over at "The Vintage Moth"
Congrats for starting your blog!
I wanted to tell you that you've done an amazing job on your blog and have many wonderful ideas! I enjoy your creativity.
You are so sweet to give out some blog candy!
I have no other tips as the other girls to write.
I've posted a photo with the link at my sidebar so let’s hope you get lots of people looking.
Thank you so much for being generous enough to offer such gorgeous candy to win!
Lot of greetings from Germany
Regina
I found you through Abbie as well! Maybe that is all that we need for a successful blog. Just get her to mention us. She's wonderful and one of my first blogging friends. Congrats on your blog! It looks fantastic, especially for someone who hasn't been doing it long. I would add that when you mention someone else's blog you add a link for it and when you have a give away ask for others to follow you or to post about your give away on their blog. Follow your heart and in time you will meet several that share your same interests and will be blessed with many wonderful friends. I know I have been. I'm here if you have any questions and keep on doing what you do! xoxo Rhonda...
ReplyDeleteHi Heather!! I was browsing through your blog and first of all I wanted to say that your creations are awesome. As far as tips to a successful blog I find myself also striving to become better at this. I read a book titled Blogging for Bliss. You can find it at Barnes & Noble. It had lots of neat ideas and simply little things that make a world of a difference. Truth is anything that's real and comes from the heart is always a seller as a crafter anything unique is always a seller too :)
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes!!
I also found your blog through Abbie's. It is a good idea getting linked to other sites. I'm enjoying your blog, keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteOops--so sorry I forgot to leave you advice! My only advice (since I've only been doing it for a couple of months) would have to be to post at a certain time daily or weekly....Keep me posted if you get any other advice--I can always use it!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day:)
well, you're definitely off to a good bloggin' start heather!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm....advice? Have FUN!!! I think that shows through on your blog posts:)
I've added you to my google reader so you'll be hearing from me alot...lol..
Hi Heather! Nice to meet you! Cute blog! Hard to believe that you have been doing it for only a month.
ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for a little over two years now. My advice? Don't take yourself too seriously. Have fun and just visit other blogs and comment. I have met so many great woman that I now call friends!
Come visit me sometime!
Hey there Heather! First****Happy 1st month of blogging !**** The blogging world is a wonderful place to share and meet people and it looks like you are experiencing this perfectly! I think the best advice I can share with you is don't let it rule you and get overwhelmed with having to post something new everyday. I thought I had to when I first started and then realized it was seriously draining me. Instead, I saved up for a larger post. Also figure out your style. What you want to convey/share with others. I sometimes share personal deets and then other times strictly craft info. Still learning myself. :-) Best of luck but looks like you are doing very well! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHeather, your blog is beautiful! I would never know you are new... It sure looks like you are doing a great job! I found you through The Vintage Moth. I adooore your cards, they are gorgeous! Looks to me like you are doing everything right over here. I think blogging at leasty 3 to 4 times a week keeps everyone interested, and also helps us stay motivated! Thanks for the lovely opportunity!
ReplyDeleteHope i made it here in the nick of time! LOL! What a great looking blog! Cool Giveaway ~ Making Memories has some great stuff!
