Moxi Fab World/Shabby and Vintage

Hello everyone.  I have another card to share today.  I made a card for the Shabby and Vintage challenge at Moxi Fab World.  This is my style and what I feel most comfortable doing.  I love all the lace,doilies, satin ribbon, and Seam Binding.  One thing I have been doing lately is making my own stick pins for embellishments on my bows and using 2 different colors of seam binding for the bow as well.

I also stitched on top of the card.  Another sure way of adding to a shabby card.  And I used 2 different Glimmer Mist colors to the doily.  Wheatfields and Gold.  I love how the black stitching looks as a contrast to the bright yellow paper.

    Oh boy this is just super fun! I have been wanting to make my own stick pins and just don't know how to start! Your pin is beautiful Heather. I also really love the colors on your seam binding. Phew! You outdid yourself today!

    Very beautiful. I love how this kind of reads as rustic as well with the bright yellow, a nice and fresh take on shabby and vintage. Thanks so much for the recommendations as well! I wish I could repay the favor, but I'm stuck!

    Yep! This is the post where my big response disappeared! Fabulous card...even though all your cards are great it's so obvious this is where you are most comfortable! I wish I could borrow some of that mojo! I love vintage in my life...but it's not my card style...why is that? It's too weird! Maybe I have multiple personalities! Anyway, good for you for participating in the Moxie Fab Find your Style challenge! I couldn't commit!
