My Mom and I

Hello everyone.  I just wanted to update you all and let you know that my mom is doing much better today and she will be coming home tomorrow.  She came through the surgery very well.  The Dr. and my family are very pleased with how well everything went.  I wanted to share a picture with you all.  This is from Mother's Day this year.  I think this is the only picture I have with my mom since I was little.  She and I both don't like our picture taken.
My brother was in the picture too but I cropped him out.  hehe.  I hadn't asked him if he wanted his picture up on my blog so I figured better safe than sorry.

This is my mom and my son.  I am surprised he actually smiled.  He doesn't like his picture taken either.

I wanted to thank you all again for all your prayers.  There were a few that commented that were no reply and I wasn't able to find your blog or an email to tell you thank you.  SO, Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

  12. Oh Heather, so nice to see you and your mom. I'm so glad she came through surgery well...you really should take more pictures, like them or not they are part of your heritage for your kids and maybe one day grandkids. Just encouraging you to think about that...I never knew my grandparents and many of my other realatives as they all passed before I was old enough to remember, but the pictures my mom had and saved of them has been a wonderful glimpse into my heritage. *Sorry!* Not to preach at you, I just realize how vauable they are!

Also, wanted say a big congrats to you ond your DT position, you will be wonderful! Hugs to you and your mom:)
