Wonderful Friend/ Card Patterns #73

Hello!  I am so sorry I have been absent this last week.  I kinda lost my mojo.  Not sure what is going on.  I just didn't feel like making anything this week.  Until the time came for me to make my card for Card Patterns next sketch.  Then I knew what I had missed out on all week.  I got on and saw all my blog friends wonderful creations and felt horrible for not visiting.  I am so sorry.  So here is my creation for the challenge.


I just felt like doing  a bright and cheery card.  I have been drawn to the brighter colors lately.  I made this little embellishment in the center.  It is one of those Martha Stewart tags with a flower, button and a bit of lace.  I made several of these embellishments about a month ago and haven't used them yet.  So here is one of them.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/Plum Pudding
DP: Making Memories/Flea Market
Stamps: PTI/ Beautiful Blooms II
Ink: Versa Magic/ Perfect Petunia& Martha Stewart/Lilac
Tag: Martha Stewart
Others: Buttons, Lace, Floss

    Gorgeous card - love the fun little flower with all the details, and the colors are so cheery! I know what you mean about lapsing in the crafting department.... Life happens, and life is the important stuff. Crafting sometimes has to come later, and that's okay!! :) Glad to see you're feeling the mojo again. :)

    I wondered where you were. I'm glad you're back. I feel that way, too. Need a little break from the routine sometimes. Love the card. I really like your style! Thanks for comments on the sewing. I've got lots of practicing to do before I get comfortable with it.
