Timeless Tuesday 134

Wow time is flying by soo fast.  It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday and Maki is challenging us to use water.  Here are the details:
Use water into your card/project. You can use images and/or elements that include water or use any techniques that include water as its supplies (for examples : water coloring, misted BG with water, water color wash).



I used the cute new set from Flourishes called Sweet Days of Summer.  I don't know how to water color and this was the only image that I own from Flourishes that has water.  I hope you don't mind another Silhouette card again.  I didn't think about that ahead of time.


I also didn't put a sentiment on it.  I didn't think it would fit nicely and also that way I can add it to the inside when I am ready to send it off.  I realized the other day that I had way too many thank you cards and not many other occasions. 


I used the JUGS sketch for my card tonight.  I haven't played along with the girls in a long time and that was one of my first challenge sites I used.  They are celebrating their 100th challenge.

***I am not sue what is going on with Blogger....some of my links refuse to change color.  It has done this the last few weeks or so.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Another beauty Heather ... love how you shade the stamp ... and I tend to leave the sentiments off unless the card is for something specific ... that way there is always a card to hand ... Have a sweet day

    i love the silhouette, heather and its perfect for the challenge! i use live writer for my posts-not blogger, but it does act up on the link colors sometimes. not sure why...

    Oh my gosh! I LOVE this! Your choice of patterned papers are perfect!!! I would never have thought to combine them! The colors are soooo beautiful!

    I love it! A Classic clean lined simple card!I love, love those!! It doesn't get any better then that :) I too, have decided I'm just going to keep my cards "occasionless" until I need one and stamp a co-ordinating sentiment inside :)

    Yes, I've had that same trouble with Blogger at times and much more in the last few days.
    Glad we got rain and I'm sure you are, too. Don't think I've ever been so glad to see it. My water bill has been huge. :-)

    Heather, your card is so soothing. I love all the soft colors and your sewing is perfect. I'm so glad you used this stamp. I have this set but haven't seen this particular stamp used yet.     Great image! I hear you on the "way too many thankyou cards". I often just tack the sentiment on so if necessary I can change it. I keep the changed out ones plus a stock of other interchangeable ones in a small cheap $1 store photo album, that way I can add a sentiment in a flash.
