Snow Wonderful sneak peek

Hello and welcome to the first day of sneak peaks for Flourishes new release.  Today we are sneak peeking the new set called Snow Wonderful.   This set has beautiful winter themed images and it also goes with the Flourishes Spellbinder Key Hole Die Set.  



I added a good bit of Stickles to the snow.  I really wanted a wintery scene.  We are definitely not having any of the fluffy stuff here in IA.  It does not feel like Christmas to me.  I think this is only the second time since I moved here in 1997, that we didn't have snow for Christmas time.  It is going to be 50 degrees tomorrow.  That is crazy!  So I just look at this and dream of a White Christmas.


I made the image an actual tag element on the card, so it can be flipped over to the sentiment on the back side.  For the mat shape behind the die, I just traced and cut the outer edge of the die.

    Now that's clever...putting a sentiment on the underside. Love it! This is such a rich looking card. The shape of the focal image is so unique as well. I adore the glistening snow on the tag. Genius!

    Lovely card, Heather! LOVE the idea of the tag that one can flip over to see the sentiment...simply BRILLIANT! I CANNOT tell you how EXCITED I am to see ANOTHER stamp set that coordinates with the Keyhole Die Set! Woohoo!

    You are a master when it comes to coloring. This is fabulous! This stamp and the way you colored it made me think of an old vintage image but this is by far more gorgeous. Love this card!
