Birthday Wishes/ CR84FN 46

Hello my sweet blog friends.  I have a card to share with you that I have made for CR84FN.  My BFF's birthday is on Friday and I wanted to make something special for her.  I love this weeks new colors of Pink, Yellow, and a Neutral, but I am not so sure I like the outcome of my card.  What I had in my mind and what came out on paper just didn't match.  I think we are our own worst critic sometimes.  


I love the papers I used and all the elements, I just don't like the layout of the card.  I am thinking if I had turned it vertically it would have been better off.  What do you think?  I love butterflies, so I had to add one to the card.  I go through phases of using them...I think it is that time again.  :)

    Lovely card...I go through phases as well....how can you not like a buttefly? Reminds me spring will be here sooner than we think. cherry

    Don't be so hard on yourself - I think this is absolutely gorgeous. I really like the papers and the butterflies are fab! I like the diecut label and pretty flower. I'm sure your friend will love it!

    I love that flower! How did you do that? Your card is beautiful! I like the horizontal lay out! I love the collage stamping on the background, too. Great job!

      Makie, that was a flower I got from Michael's last year. It is Recollections which is their brand..a knock off of Prima flowers. I pulled the crochet flower center off and added a button with twine. I love it much better that way. :)

    I think you are too hard on yourself. Yes maybe if you flipped the card but i love the way this one turend out. You nailed the colors and your BFF will love it. That flower is a beautiful focal point and that buttefly; sigh...

    I know what you mean about things in your head not translating to paper; but rest assured, even if it isn't what you intended, it is GORGEOUS!!! LOVE that flower! Your friend is going to love it!!!

    Very beautiful! Love the half die for the sentiment. Clever. I always second guess my designs. :) My best designs are usually when I have dropped my card mid-stream and it falls into another design that is way better than the one I laid out. :)
