Hoping all your Wishes and Dreams...

Hello again!  I had the day off and decided to get into my craft room after I did some house cleaning.  I wanted to use a set that had not seen an ink pad yet...sad to say, but I have had it for at least 6 months and haven't even used it yet.

I used a set from PTI called Day Dreamer.  I loved the different flower top options and sweet sentiments.  I will be using this a few more times for sure.  Can you see I used a little bit of glitter on the center of the flowers.

I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ White, MFT/Natural
Patterned Paper: MME Bee Happy
Versa Magic Ink: Pixi Dust, Pink Grapefruit, Tea Leaves
Offray Ribbon: Antique White
Border Die: MFT

Trick or Treat

WOW!  It has been one long week at work for me.  I had the day off and some time in my craft room today.  I wanted to submit something for the Guest Designer sketch at MFT and I  had ordered the new VIP kit and could not wait to use it.

I was looking back at a card I had made using one of my very first Pure Innocence girls last year and decided to use some of the same MME paper that I love so much along with Snow Cone and Natural cardstock.  The dies that I used are mini tabs foursome, Notched Border, and  Prima Donna petals. If you look closely you can see that I added some Stickles to the layers on her adorable costume.  OH....I have to tell you....I ordered some of the new Hemp Cord in the MFT store.  I LOVE it!  It is a lot more sturdy than the Jute that I have used in the past and what I like most is that it does not look frayed.

Enjoy your special day

I had a little fun crafty time on Monday and made this sweet butterfly card.  I am always in need of Birthday cards so that is what I went for first.  When I sat down to create this card I knew I wanted to use some of my horribly neglected PTI dies.  I ended up with a combination of PTI and MFT products.  Although I will not be ordering from PTI anymore due to poor customer service and extremely delayed shipping, I will continue to use what I have spent my hard earned money on.  I had pretty much abandoned all things PTI over the last couple months and have been having a crafty good time spending my money at MFT.  I just ordered the VIP kit last night and I already received notification that it has been sent!  Now that is what I call AMAZING customer service.

I used a pretty border die and tab from MFT and the sweet butterflies and doily are PTI.  That amazing felt is also found in the MFT store along with the Natural colored cardstock that is my NEW favorite and the Blossom twine.

I played along with the Sweet Stop sketch and there is a "spin" that you must include dies or punches.  I am pretty sure I have that covered here.  :)

Thanks so much for looking,
Heather

Butterflies, bees, spiders, oh my!

Hi everyone!  I am back again to share a card I made for the newest Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  This week Maki  is our hostess and she is asking us to use an insect image and/or elements for your card/project.

I used the cute set called Flowers and Tags along with the matching tailor made die.  I also used Frames and Flowers and Hydrangea.  I used Spellbinders dies Classic Petal Edgeabilites and Classic Ovals LG.

The pretty papers come from THIS 123 create Kit.

Oh Baby!

I can't believe that another week has gone by!  The weather has cooled off a good bit and I am enjoying sitting outside each evening again.  We have some new colors this week at CR84FN.  Aqua, Tan, and Cream   worked perfectly for a coworker's baby shower.

I used a bunch of MFT goodies.  I could make a whole card out of just dies!  I organised all my dies today and I have to say... I have a TON!   Variety...gotta have it!

I used the current MFTWSC sketch.

***I thought I already had this typed and I had to work until 10:00 pm tonight.  I am doing a quick post and will be back in the morning to list all my stamps and dies.

Loads of Love

Hello again sweets!  I have a darling card I made the other day to share with you.  I ordered a bunch of new MFT goodies from the new release and could not wait to use them and it paired together perfectly with my new 6x6 MME Happy Day paper pack.  I am quickly becoming an addict to the MFT cardstock and felt...LOVE IT!

I used the Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch at MFT for inspiration

I also played along with The Play Date Cafe color challenge.

Warmest Greetings

Hello sweets!  I have been trying to get over this summer cold that I seem to have caught.  I ended up with a sinus infection and had to get antibiotics.  Then my poor boy has the same thing.    Luckily I am starting to feel much better.  I do have a card to share with you  for the newest challenge at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  This week Cindy is our hostess and she is asking us to use *Kraft* paper.  I use it a good bit anyway so this was not a hard one for me.  I did use it for the card base and mat layer.

I could not wait to pull out the new Autumn Blossoms set that was just released for August.  It is part of the  The Blossoms Collection, this beautiful array of autumn blossoms illustrated by Marcella Hawley features a bouquet, corner stamps, and pieces to create your own borders or frames. Add in a trio of all occasion sentiments and you have the perfect set to create cards for every day correspondence. Set measures 4 by 6" and is the perfect companion to sister sets Happily Ever After and Letters in Blossom  If you like this set, you might also like our Summer Blossoms set as well featuring summer florals.

I used the new 123 Create kit found HERE in the Flourishes store.

Wishing You the Sweetest Things

Hello my sweet blog friends. Are you having a good weekend?  It has finally cooled down here.  I actually saw some 70's for highs on the forecast for the week.  That is a little more like it!  It is week 2 at CR84FN so you have a few more days to play along.

I used my new MFT goodies for this card.  I absolutely LOVE this new Layered Rose Die and Medium Leafy Flourish.  Some of the other dies I used are Polka Dot Greetings stamp and die set, Textile Rectangle die, Photo Corners, and Royal Leaves Die~namics.

Here is a close up of the pretty rose that I created using the dies.  I used 2 of each size flower and manipulated the leaves as need to make the rose.  The sentiment label is popped up with dimensional adhesive  on the blue label.  Don't look too close, I stamped the sentiment a little crooked and that was even my second time around.  I seriously think my eyeballs are crooked.  All lettering is crooked that I attempt.  Whether it is handwritten or stamped!  LOL

Garden Picks

During release week Flourishes has some fun Noon time challenges.  This one is all about TEXTURE.
HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is all about giving your card or creation a little texture! Add an embossed design? Share a little glitter? How about Crystal Effects or a few sanded edges? This challenge is all about those little extras that give a card POP! To be in the running, add a little texture and then link up your creation here on this post using the Inlinkz linky below! Load your card to SCS? Please use the keyword — FLLCAUGRW1. Just that simple and just that fun! You have until this Friday, August 10th at 5PM EST to enter!

Can you see that I added some Stickles glitter glue to the purple flowers in the middle?  Also the lace would be texture as well as the ribbon.
I used the pretty new set called Garden Picks :Freshly snipped from the garden, these herbs and florals are ready to be enjoyed. This set illustrated by Marcella Hawley features three different bouquets all designed to be set in an old fashioned mason jar for a down home feel. This 4" by 6" set also features two perfect all occasion sentiments as well.

The fabulous 123 Create kit that I used for this card.

I found a fun challenge to play along with called The Ribbon Girl.  This month they have a bingo challenge.  I actually have the third row down and the center row across.

Thanks A Bunch / FTTC181

Hello again!  I am back to share a card I made for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  It is my turn to host this week and I got to use one of my favorite sets called With Gratitude.  Here are the details on this beautiful set:
Coneflower and Bell Flower -- two beauties perfect for sending a note of gratitude. This set was released as an exclusive set for FLIP members and is now availble to the public after being in great demand! Illustrated beautifully by Marcella Hawley, this set measures 4 by 6" and offers not only 2 beautiful focal flowers but 6 sentiments and a script border.

I drew this sketch up on paper and then the fabulous Julie made a beautiful graphic out of it.  I sure do need to learn how to do that.  I had a lot of fun and would love to make more.

Check out his fabulous 123 Create kit.  If you come here often you know that I lean more towards the pastel colors when possible.  Here are the details about this kit:
With our 1,2,3, Create Kits, you have three essential elements in one kit –paper, ribbon and embellishments all color coordinated to make card making easy! This kit, called Delightful features a 6 by 6 inch Delightful Authentique paper pack (double-sided paper), 2 yards of sheer satin scalloped edge pink ribbon, 1 yards of 5/8" avocado cotton linen ribbon, 1 yard of tangerine velvet and lace trim, 1 yard of white colored lace trim, 2 yards of mango orange seam binding ribbon, coordinating buttons,  and a pack of rhinestone swirls.

Sending Hogs!

I am back again!  Woohoo!  I have a cute card to share with you today.  I colored up this darling Pure Innocence girl for the newest CR84FN color challenge.  My BFF's daughter spent the afternoon in my craft room while I made her.  I showed her how to die cut and shared all my tips n tricks.  LOL  She sure was a quick study, and she wanted to know how to stitch on the paper and learn the coloring and cutting process.  She will be 13 in a couple months and is already into scrapbooking.  I told her she could come over anytime.:)

I took this close up so you could see her sparkly purple piggy bank!  Too cute, hu?   I finally colored a blonde girl, being a brunette I realized that I kept coloring my girls as such too.  Sweet Jody was kind enough to share her hair color combos.  I was clueless where to start since all I have been coloring for 2 years is flowers.  Ha!  It is nice to have a change/options.  They are fun to color and pick out closes for...kinda like playing dress up with paper dolls, really.

I have a question for you.  Is there anything that you want to see on my blog that I don't already show/share?  Like more info on supplies or how I do something?  More personal/ less personal stuff shared on my blog?  I always enjoy your wonderful comments, but I am open to opinions.

CR84FN color challenge

I am entering this into the current MFTWSC sketch on the MFT blog.
