Are you having a great weekend so far? I am so excited that I have an extra long weekend this week for Thanksgiving. My husband had mentioned that he wanted a real tree this year for Christmas instead of our artificial tree that I normally use, so that is what we did today. We got a Fraser Fir which does not have that Christmas tree smell that so many are used to but it sure is sturdy and looks beautiful. I can't wait to decorate it tomorrow, the directions say to let it soak up water for a day before decorating in case the stump sealed before we got it in water. I can't image how horrible that would be to decorate it to then have to remove it all and make a fresh cut. Hopefully I can get a pretty picture of it and share it on my blog.
Today I am back to share with you my card for the newest colors of CR84FN68. This is the last challenge we will do until after the holidays. We will resume December 30th. I have some baking and crafty things I would love to get made over the next few weeks. How about you?
I pulled out some of my old PTI goodies for this one. The butterfly dies are my absolute favorite, I love the shape of the wings. Although I am no longer purchasing from PTI, I figured that I should at least use all the products I paid my hard earned money on, right? I used some old Stampin' Up Gray cardstock and pretty new Theresa Collins paper for this card.
