Hi all and welcome to day one of Flourishes' sneak peeks for December! This release is full of floral fancy and today is no exception. When this set was just in the concept form, illustrator Marcella Hawley came to us with images from her own home. She not only loves to draw botanical images and dream about botanicals but she loves bringing them to life in her own garden. It's really quite incredible. She pitched this concept based on what she loves to do in the winter months, dream about spring! And so, we bring you....
I went pretty simple on the image for this one, I didn't want to over do it. I distressed the cardstock edges for the stamped image and layered it on a Spellbinders die cut out in chocolate colored cardstock.
When winter hits, dreams of being in the garden begin with open sketch books, seed catalogs and garden journals - planning, plotting and envisioning sprouts and buds emerging from the soil. This set, illustrated by Marcella Hawley features three vivid vignettes honoring these garden dreams. Also features three beautifully scripted sentiments. Set measures 4" by 6". If you like what you see, you can pre-order this set right now by clicking HERE!
