Hello again! I am back with a card that I made for Flourishes. Today the Sr. Design team is using an image from one of the Year In Flowers stamp sets. I chose the Year In Flowers 2. This one is for Christine's hubby who had surgery, you can find more info in her post HERE. I tried real hard to keep this on the more masculine side...I think I failed miserably. I had good intentions with the grey cardstock and teak colored roses. It went wrong with the pretty oval frame and seam binding bow that I added. I am hoping he is used to seeing Christine's pretty creations and won't mind the bow. LOL ;)
I am also not sold on the gray distress ink that I added to the inside of the oval. What is your opinion?

That peticular shade of gray is a perfect match with the papers. And fits the flowers; love the colors. It seems that by using gray distress ink they almost pop off the card ( gues that is horrible English; sorry..)
ReplyDeleteSpekaing of your card; I think it;s gorgeous!
