As you can see, I didn't use any patterned paper except this scalloped border that was in my "extras" basket. This is pretty CAS for me, I did stitch around the edges and sentiment tag which took only a minute to do. Yes, this did only take 10 minutes! I keep several baskets sitting around my desk. One for cut cardstock, it has various sizes if card bases and mats that I ended up not using on a project. Another, for leftover scraps of patterned paper, a box that has borders and another box that has die cuts that were never used on projects. These are all handy for making quick cards. Plus, I already had a sketch that I was going to use, so that took a lot of time off the process because I didn't have to sit and think about what I was going to do.
Here is the inside of my card. I needed another sympathy card to send to my aunt for my uncle's passing. I would normally have done this in pink, but she doesn't really strike me as liking pink so I opted for blue. I was thinking about Stacy the whole time I made this card, she LOVES blue! :)

What a beautiful card and image this is! I love your CAS style and I really appreciate your sharing how you organize your bits and pieces. I have to dig through a basket and a box to find something that works and, frankly, it's NOT working for me. You've got me thinking. Thanks!
