Speaking of friends in Iowa. I made this card for my best friend. We use to go out almost every Friday night and have dinner then we would go to Archiver's, JoAnn's and we would usually be home by 10:00 pm. I enjoyed her company dearly. I am totally bummed and missing her a ton lately.
I colored this sweet little butterfly with my Copics and used Prisma glitter on the inside of the wings. Then hand cut the butterfly. They didn't make a die for this butterfly. hehe
This is the inside of the card.
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/White
DP: Basic Grey, PTI/ Bitty Dot Basics 2009/ October Afternoon
Stamps: PTI/Flutterby Friend
Ribbon: Twill
Copics:
Glitter: Prisma
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, love the colors. We should trade locations. Usually we are nice and sunny with some rain this time of year, but it has been raining almost non-stop for the past 2 weeks and it's chilly...today I had to wear a long sleeve shirt and jeans. I guess each weather condition has it's ups and downs...but I am so not ready for fall! Stay cool:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Heather - working on that challenge now myself and actually have that same October Afternoon on my plate! Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteThis is PERFECT! We are both such a PTI fan :) Yeah..too bad they didn't make a die for this butterfly. Otherwise, it'll make our life easier isn't? lol
