Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 126

It is time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  Cindy is challenging us to Embossing either wet/dry.  I decided to use one of my horribly neglected Embossing Folders.  I love the way it makes the white ledger paper look.

The Iris was not so easy for me to color.  I just about went blind trying to color the small spaces.  I think age is starting to set in.  I might need glasses for my coloring.  Sad!  This flower comes from A Year In Flowers2.


I used Chupa's sketch over at Sketchbook Saturday.  Her sketches are AWESOME!

    I think the iris is such an elegant flower - tall and stately in the garden! These are just wonderful, brilliant colouring. Love the layout too.

    I love what you did with the Irises. the whole look of the card is cheerful. I had to breakdown and buy some readers so I can see small print and do coloring. It took me 48 years, but it did happen.

    Absolutely gorgeous, Heather. I love the colors you've used and the ribbon is such a yummy color. Oh, those readers are no fun but very helpful when you need them. I couldn't color without mine. I would sure hate to see it if I tried. Ha

    Heather, this is beautiful!! Love the colors and the orange bow is fabulous.

    I know what you mean about eyes...I got these amazing magnifying glasses with "headlights" on them and I LOVE them. It blows up the images for my old tired eyes!!

    Heather I really love this iris stamp.And your coloring (although I wrote that so many times that it could sound a bit boring; sorry..) This card looks so summer-y :) Great choice of patterned paper; lovely!
