Hello, my sweet blog friends! The card I am sharing today is one that I made for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. You are to make a 5.5" x 3.5" in card. I don't think I have ever made anything smaller than an A2 or a Square 5"x5"in card. This actually looks kind of cute! As you can see below, I made a matching tag to go with my card.
I popped the yellow flower up with some some dimensional adhesive. I have become addicted to the Scotch brand that you can find at your local craft store. It is just the right thickness...not too thick and not too think.
Here is the cute little tag I created using a variety of MFT stamps and die-namics .
Here they are together. You can really tell how small the card is in comparison to the tag.

Here is the sketch I used from Sweet Sunday Sketch.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

I love the long narrow look you get from this size! Big, beautiful flowers, pretty colors and papers, pretty doily die, and so easy to mail! Love the foam mounting tape, too. Cut it any size and it's not so thick as to interfere with mailing. It can always be layered if you want to pop it up more. Great card and tag, Heather!
ReplyDeleteYour card and tag look beautiful..
ReplyDeleteHugs~

ReplyDeleteHeather, in the words of my DD, "that's really cute!" Really. I love the bright spring colors and the bit of text peeking out from the flowers on the card is very eye-catching. I might have to give a card this size a try. Pretty tag, too!
