Happy Anniversary

Hello.  I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  Today my hubby and I are celebrating our 12th Anniversary together.  Time sure does fly by so fast.  I made this card for him using Flourishes Forest of Trees set.  He said this was my best masculine card yet.  Whew!  He definitely doesn't appreciate all the ribbon and bows I seem to add to every card I make.  :)

I did a good bit of sponging on this one.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, Walnut Stain, and Antique Linen mixed with a little Vintage Photo.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/Rustic Cream and Dark Chocolate, Stamper's Select White
DP:  MME
Stamps: Flourishes/Forest of Trees
Inks:  Tim Holtz distress inks stated above
Dies: SB Classic Squares LG, Lil Inker Banner
Sewing machine: Stitching

Sorry but this one is short and sweet.  I am off to make lunch.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

I love the sponging--especially the green in the tree, and your dp's are perfect for a husband card. Looks like you got your tension worked out on your sewing machine--it looks great here. Hugs~
