Timeless Tuesday 147

Are you having a good start to your week so far?  I am on a roll.  I am back again with a card for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  This week Silke is our challenge hostess and she  has made a sketch for us.  I love sketches.  They make life a lot easier for me.  All I have to do is choose papers and stamps.



I used a set that came out last holiday season called Doves and Holly.  I have tried to sit down and color this image a few times before and it just didn't turn out like I wanted.  I think because it is on the lighter side.  It is hard for me to do good shading on something so light.

    I think your colring on this is lovely Heather! In fact, I think the doves look perfect! I love the lighter colors of the image paired withe rich reds on the card. A delightful mix!

    Heather, this is one Amazing card! Your coloring and shading has such a rich feel and everything looks so real! I love it all :)

    By the way, I keep forgetting to mention my older brother lives in Iowa and I'm originally from Minnesota :) Both are really great states. I love all the farm land Iowa & Minnesota has - I miss that :)

    I had to laugh when you wrote about my lantana on my blog. I wonder how many other people caught that but did say anything. I guess I didn't get enough coffee that morning!! Hee Hee!!!
