Timeless Tuesday 127

I can't believe that summer is coming to an end already.  My son starts back to school in a little over 2 weeks.  I have not bought one single school supply or school clothes, and he is in need of a hair cut!  He also had to get shots to go into the 6th grade, and a new updated "Blue Card" that is required here in the state of Alabama. There is always so many things to do and never enough time to do it in.

 So with all that said it is time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge.  Silke gave us this beautiful inspiration photo to get your mojo going.  Again, I love purple and just don't have enough of it in my crafty supply, especially not grey.  This one was definitely a challenge for me.  I do like the way it turned out though.


I used the new set that Flourishes just released called Sweet Nature (sentiment) and one from a couple releases ago called Country Charm Labels (flourish).  The pretty brad on my bow is from one of the past Kit of the Month.

    Heather this is just so elegant. I like the way the chevrons echo the furniture, and your bow is just fab! Love the colours too ;)

    Seems strange to read that it's back to school in two weeks, when over here we've only just started the hols!!

    School already in 2 weeks? Please don't let summer be over. It's hardly gotten started here. 'Course our kids don't go back till after Labor Day, but even that's coming up too fast for me. Anyway, very pretty card, Heather! I like the papers and extras you've chosen to fit the challenge. Your satin ribbon has a beautiful sheen in the photo, and your bow/brad combo is gorgeous!

    What a beautiful card, Heather! The purple ribbon is just luscious and I love your bow. The tilted sentiment is a nice touch, too. My daughter goes back to school in 2 weeks, too. We made the Walmart run today for required school supplies--always an adventure. It's your birthday? Hope it was fabulous!!!
