I remembered your birthday...

Hello and happy hump day.  We are halfway through the week and that means it is time for the MFTWSC  sketch.  First I made this feminine birthday card then I remembered that my husband's birthday is the 5th of November and decided to use the same sketch using different papers.

For my husbands card I used the new Nightshift Blue cardstock.  I am not sure if it looks navy or more black in the photo but I assure you it is the blue.  It went perfectly with my MME Six by Six masculine looking paper pack. Instead of the rolled roses like the one above, I  used buttons on the banners.

Here is your weekly chance to win at My Favorite Things! You’ll want to be sure to play along for your chance at the weekly prize, valued at up to $20 in vouchers to the MFT Boutique. You can submit your entry using the keyword MFTWSC96 to the Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. Entries for this week’s challenge will close on Tuesday, November 6th at noon EST.

Sending You Snow Kisses

Hello again!  As part of my guest designer opportunity with MFT, I get to participate in the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch.  I got this little cutie with my last order and already had her colored but not dress when I received the sketch, and she worked perfectly.  I have had my eye on her for some time and was just waiting to get her.

You can find the challenge as well as the list of designers on the  MFT blog.  Make sure to enter your creation in the SCS gallery.

Here are the links to all the products I used.

Keep Calm and Fight On

Hey girls!  Are you having a great weekend so far?  Unfortunately I have to work all weekend but I was able to squeeze some time in to get this made Saturday night.  A coworkers daughter was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I wanted to make a card for her to send her.  She had Breast Cancer herself 2 years ago and is in remission, so for her own daughter to go what she has gone through is heartbreaking for her.  They have a strong family history and every woman in their family has had it.  She is just 36 years old!  Get those mammograms ladies!!

It is week two for the pretty pink  CR84FN color combo which is PERFECT for any breast cancer awareness cards and there are tons of challenges on SCS as well.

Since this has to go all the way to California and I am not mailing it, I did not put a bow in it.  That way it saves her on postage.  I have to say that I love the new MFT Die-namics SUPPORT HOPE dies and matching sentiment set.  I hope they come out with some pretty patterns for the bras...that would be too cute!

Here is the sketch for this week at Sweet Stop sketch challenge blog.
