Thanks Bunches

I am so happy!  I was able to get 3 cards made on my day off.  Woohoo!  I have been wanting to get this made for 2 weeks now.  I used my new PI Blessed Mouse for the Guest Designer sketch at MFT.

Can you see that I used my favorite new MME Lavender.  I did a good bit of birthday shopping and this paper was part of it along with a bunch of new MFT goodies.  I can't wait until next week to see the new release.  I love their cardstock too, I used Snow Cone and Natural for this card.

Ranunculus

I can't believe it has been a week since I posted last.  Time sure flies when you have a lot to do.  My FIL had a stroke last Friday so we had to go for a visit and I be dog gone if the heat didn't get to my car.  It was 112 and the belt and belt positioner ended up making some god awful noise and had to be replaced before we could go home.  This has been quite the week for me.  My father's girlfriend just had a double mastectomy today for Breast Cancer.  She was lucky enough that the cancer had not spread to the lymph nodes or muscle tissue.  Thank God!  That has been my  week...how was yours?

This week for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, Allison is asking that we CASE a DT member from the Flourishes Gallery.  I chose a beautiful card from Cindy Lawrence found in the gallery HERE.  She also has a video tutorial HERE showing how she did the pretty border on her card.  If you look to the right on the gallery page you can see that you are able to search by stamp sets if you like.  If you noticed I was so busy trying to get the card size right and goofed the side that the border went on...OOPS!

I also wanted to take a minute to tell my sweet friend Mona goodbye.  This is her last post with Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  I will miss her and her beautiful creations each week.  I hope you will still find a little crafty time to play sometimes.  :)

I am not sure about you but I am burning up over here.  We have had temps in the 100's for a week now.  They said on the news that it was hotter here in Iowa today than it was in Phoenix!  Yuck!  I am ready for winter and SNOW!

I do have a card to share for the newest challenge for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  We are having Christmas in July.  Welcome to Flourishes’ Christmas in July sale! Each year around this time, Flourishes kicks off a festive sale that is sure to warm your hearts and get you in the spirit, long before the snow starts to fly! Somehow I have misplaced all my 6x6 holiday paper pads.  I was lucky enough to find some scraps in my scrap basket to work with.  Ha!  Speaking of holiday....I can't wait for all the new holiday goodies to hit the shelves and online from CHA.

Lather-Rinse-Repeat

Hello again!  I have this PI cutie to share with you.  We have some pretty new colors for CR84FN.  I love these colors together and they worked perfectly for the image I wanted to use.

I was so happy to be chosen as the Favorite Find for the month of July on the MFT blog!

I am not sure if you can see, but I used some Stickles on the bubbles and Glossy Accents on her little shower cap.   I used my all time favorite MME paper called Lost and Found Market Street.  The cutie is from MFT Pure Innocence Lather Rinse Repeat and the Cardstock is PTI Rustic White and MFT Natural.  I used Offray Ribbon and Doodlebug twine.  Memento Tuxedo Black is always my go to for stamping when I use Copics.

Wish Big

Hello again!  I ordered some new goodies from MFT  and in that order was this darling little Pure Innocence girl called Believe in Magic.  I knew I had to put her on some girly paper because I HAD to color her pink.  Also, I have found a new alternative to Kraft paper...MFT cardstock in Natural.  LOVE IT!  It is a good bit lighter and I love the look it has on my cards vs. Kraft.

Can you see I added Stickles to her wings.  A sweet girl needs a little sparkle, don't ya think?  A pink rhinestone was added to her magic wand.  I got the beautiful Royal Rose dies in my last order and loved them so this time I ordered the Mini Rolled Roses and love them too. The sentiment is on one of the Mini Tabs Foursome and the border is the Simply Scallops LG die-namics.

I used the MFT sketch for MFTWSC80

Triple Play

Good afternoon, I wanted to share a card I made for another Noon Time Challenge at Flourishes.  The newest release is happening now.  I used the pretty new set called Flowers and Frames.  This beautiful set pairs anemone florals designed in a swag-like design with sweet hand drawn frames that coordinate perfectly to provide a handful of different layering options. Use the large swag on a card base and build up using Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG. as your guide. This set also features four all occasion sentiments designed to nest inside.

HOW TO PLAY: To be in the running for this fun-filled challenge, all you need to do is use three of something on your card or creation - pearls, flowers, colors, layers... the sky is the limit! Sweetness of Friendship

Welcome to another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday.  This week we are getting sentimental.  Create a card or project featuring the sentiment.  We are also sneak peaking the newest release.

The stamp is called Sweetness of Friendship and it takes on the mantra of Jan Marie's new blog - a place where friends can gather to enjoy the laughter and sharing of pleasures (in creating!) The stamp set is available right now and you can check it out in the Flourishes Store HERE  It's a beauty!

What's even more fun? Jan Marie is giving away this stamp to the first 25 people who leave comments on today's post over on her new blog

Today, we are ushering in this challenge because not only is Flourishes releasing a new single stamp set with a beautiful sentiment, we are helping Jan Marie, the owner of Flourishes launch her new blog! Want a peek at the new sentiment?

We can't wait to see what you create when you put a sentiment at the center of your creation!

I Just Can't Thank You Enough

Hello and welcome to another CR84FN color challenge.  This week we have some fun summer colors for you to create with (red, yellow, neutral).  I can't believe that the summer is half over.  With the crazy heat and lack of rain, I think I just might be ready for winter!  Yes, I said it...winter!  Call me crazy, but I can NOT take the heat.  I love my spring and fall seasons the most, but we skipped spring here.  We never did get the "April Showers" that is supposed to be the best part of spring that makes everything all pretty and green here.

I used one of my favorite stamps from MFT.  this cute framed greeting is from Polka Dot greetings and the mat is the die from Textile Rectangle, along with the pretty new Hibiscus flowers, Leafy Flourish, and Fishtail Banners.  I used papers from a couple different My Minds Eye paper packs and Versa Magic ink in Red Magic.

I played along with the MFTWSC sketch at MFT.

Hi!

Hello and welcome back!  I created a fun card for the new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge.  This week Maki is our hostess and she is asking us to use a summer theme on our card or project..  To me, this makes me think of summer on a porch somewhere reading a good book or fun crafty magazine.
This On The Porch set was part of the May release.

I used Flourishes Classic White cardstock and May Arts Ivory Juste  from the Flourishes store.  I am not sure if you know, but there are tons of goodies to be had in the store online at Flourishes.  From Copics to Spellbinders we have it!

I used the newest sketch at Sweet Stop sketch blog

You had me at MEOW

I just love it when I have some crafty time all to myself.  After I had my breakfast and morning coffee I decided to sit down and color up this PI Purrfect cutie.  Isn't she adorable?  This week, like each and every other week there is a fabulous sketch at MFT.  I have not had time to play the last couple weeks, so I jumped at the opportunity this time around.

I tried to make the kitty look like my calico cat, but it did not turn out like I had hoped.  I also stamped the sentiment in parts on the flag die.  The whole sentiment would not fit so I inked up the first line and added the dots with my marker, then I stamped the second line.  Voila!  It nearly killed me to not put a bow on this card.  I have been collecting all those amazing flower Die-namics dies and they work great in place of a bow, plus they mail easier in an envelope.

I used the Simply Scallops Medium , and Pretty Posie Die-namics
