Page Maps

Hello again.  I am back to share with you my card for one of Becky's Card Map sketches.  Several of the Flourishes girls are playing along with different sketches.  If you want to see all of the sketches, head on over to the Page Maps blog.  Below is a link to all the girls participating.

This is one of my all time favorite sets.  Besides the two images that fit in the bookplate die, the two regular sized images are the perfect size to work with.

Here is the sketch I used.  There are so many things you could use on the sketch...love it!

That’s right — all prices on our sales page DROPPED another 5% for a total of 35% As these prices drop, these items will go FAST! So, if you have your eye on something – snatch it up now or take a “gamble” to see if it will still be there next week! Click HERE to see for yourself!

Merry & Bright

I can't believe I have not posted since Saturday.  This has been quite the week for me.  On Monday while my son was riding the bus home from school, someone stole his brand new I Phone that he has had for only 3 weeks.  There is video on the bus and they can see that he has it when he gets on the bus, he then goes back a couple seats to talk to someone and then returns to his seat.  In those few minutes someone takes his phone out of his backpack.  All this before the bus has even left the school. That they can see from the video.  What they can't see is who took it, not sure why.  So very frustrating..sigh.  The only way we can view the video is to file a police report.  I am going to give the school until tomorrow and if his phone is not found I will go file a report.  Wish us luck.

I have a card to share with you for the Flourishes Friday Free For All.  I used Meredith's 10 minute Creations posted on the Flourishes blog HERE for inspiration.  I love how she stamps her own backgrounds.  I can tell you that this took longer than 10 minutes, only because I have never tried this before and choosing which stamps I wanted to use and the colors of ink took me longer than it actually took me to make the card.  I will be doing this more often, love how it turned out.

I simply stamped the holly and berries image in a Moss Green and Burgundy ink randomly on my Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I added a small piece of patterned paper with a little May Arts Crochet Lace trim towards the bottom of the card.  The sentiment is cut out using the new Perfectly Pierced Classic Frame Spellbinders dies set.

Grattitude

Are you having a great weekend so far?  I am so excited that I have an extra long weekend this week for Thanksgiving.  My husband had mentioned that he wanted a real tree this year for Christmas instead of our artificial tree that I normally use, so that is what we did today.  We got a Fraser Fir which does not have that Christmas tree smell that so many are used to but it sure is sturdy and looks beautiful.  I can't wait to decorate it tomorrow, the directions say to let it soak up water for a day before decorating in case the stump sealed before we got it in water.  I can't image how horrible that would be to decorate it to then have to remove it all and make a fresh cut.  Hopefully I can get a pretty picture of it and share it on my blog.

Today I am back to share with you my card for the newest colors of CR84FN68.  This is the last challenge we will do until after the holidays.  We will resume December 30th.  I have some baking and crafty things I would love to get made over the next few weeks.  How about you?

I pulled out some of my old PTI goodies for this one.  The butterfly dies are my absolute favorite, I love the shape of the wings.  Although I am no longer purchasing from PTI, I figured that I should at least use all the products I paid my hard earned money on, right?  I used some old Stampin' Up Gray cardstock and pretty new Theresa Collins paper for this card.

Just Because...

Hello again!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I enjoyed a delicious lunch with my husband and son at my friend's family's house.  She is kind enough to invite us for Easter and Thanksgiving each year.  With it being just the 3 of us, I probably would not cook a big meal.  What is your favorite dish to eat on Thanksgiving?

I have to say that I am in love with this new Theresa Collins paper pack.  I even used it on another card I will be sharing tomorrow.  This sentiment card will be perfect to keep on hand to send out to someone when I need a quick something that is not holiday specific.  There are several add on's to the "Just Because", You can customize it to your needs.

Sending Well Wishes

Hello everyone.  I just have a quick post to share with you for the MFTWSC sketch.  I just started a new job last Wednesday so I have been super busy.  The good thing, I have off until Monday for Thanksgiving vacation!  Woohoo!  I have a LOT of catching up to do over the next few days.

I cut and colored this darling Pure Innocence Better Get Better and added a few various rolled flower Die-namics dies with the Royal Leaves dies.  It seems like everyone is getting sick around here right now so I wanted to have at least one card on hand for such occasion.

Sturt's Desert Rose

Hi all! We sincerely hope you've enjoyed all the sneak peeks this week! Today, we get to take the lid off the entire release AND share some fun things that are also in the Flourishes store as well! Are you ready? We are so excited we can hardly stand it! For starters -- all the stamp sets that we have shown off this week are now in the Flourishes store HERE! Remember, you can take advantage too of the New Release Bundle and save 10% when you purchase all four sets in a bundle! Today, all the designers are showing off a set that was inspired by the Land Down Under! Yes, Flourishes Fans -- we are talking about Australia! Our own Kathy Jones, who hails from Australia, helped develop this set concept, which has two beautiful botanicals as the centerpiece of the set! We also have heard from many folks (Australians and Canadians alike) that they wish we offered a set that spelled greetings an a way that they were accustomed to - words like "colour," "favourite," "neighbour," and more! So, we put our thinking caps on and today, we introduce you to....

Supplies
Cardstock: Flourishes Classic White
Patterned Paper: MME Lavendar
Spellbinders Dies: Classic Ovals LG
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Copic Collections: Lenten Rose, Leaf Green, Sunflower

Take a trip to the land "Down Under" to see a pair of beautiful botanicals alive in this island continent. In this set called Bloomin' Aussie Florals, Artist Marcella Hawley brings the Golden Wattle and Sturt's Desert Rose to life with these illustrations and pairs them with true Aussie sentiments!
And.... to serve as the perfect partner to this set we offer....

A Silhouette Cameo Cut File to coordinate with this set! You'll find the new file HERE. And, if you click HERE, you will see the file in an .SVG format, to make it compatible with other digital cutting machines! We also have a cut file for the set we peeked yesterday called Stitched for You. You'll find the Silhouette file HERE and the SVG file HERE! Fun stuff!
You might think that this is the end of the excitement, but NO! We have more! Fresh off the manufacturing line comes a whole new line of custom dies! These aren't just any shapes. They are special! Why? Because in addition to being nested template dies custom created by Spellbinders Paper Arts exclusively for Flourishes, these dies all offer pierced accents! Say goodbye to piercing templates - these dies do it for you in one step! They are all a part of the Perfectly Pierced Collection! And, here's a peek!

Perfectly Pierced Classic Windows

Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals

Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass

Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames

You'll see our designers using these dies in their posts today - what fun! I know we'll get asked if stamp sets are on the way to coordinate with these beauties and the answer is undoubtedly - YES! We just knew that you didn't need a coordinating stamp set to use these dies and so, we wanted YOU to enjoy them NOW! :-) So, do you want to win some goodies or what? We'll have not one, not two, not three, not four but FIVE ways to win today. All you need to do is figure out...

And guess what -- today there will be FIVE mystery bloggers! So, the more love you leave in the form of a comment on these blogs below, the better your chances of winning!! We'll be giving away today's set - Bloomin' Aussie Florals plus we'll be giving away one each of our four new die sets! So get hopping and amp up your chance to WIN!
We'll see you back here tomorrow when we announce all the winners! We have the Be Progressive Challenge that closes today at 5PM EST -- still time to enter to win our entire new release! Plus, we have our daily mystery bloggers. Be sure to check back to see if your name lands in the Winner's Circle! Thanks for stopping by this week and joining us for all the fun! Happy Stamping!
