Thank You

Hello and welcome back to the CR84FN color challenge.  I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.  The team is back with some fabulous inspiration to get you back into your craft room.  I decided to use this darling birdcage and bird die-namics from MFT.  I am a huge birder and enjoy watching the birds visit my feeder daily.  When I was a little girl, my grandmother was always pulling out her little bird identifier book and telling me what the birds that were at the feeder.  About 10 years ago this became a big interest for me as well.  I am happy to say that my son can tell you what all the birds are that come to our feeder and can identify them by song as well.  He can even tell if they are juvenile or adults and male or female.  That makes my heart happy.

I like to make some cards and leave the outside without a sentiment just  in case that I need one that I don't already have made.  I only have about 100 cards laying around but who's counting?  Not me!

We are also welcoming Lisa Snowdy as guest designer for the month of January.

I am entering this into the MFTWSC sketch.  It is always such a great way to put all my MFT goodies to good use.

Thank You For Thinking of Me

I am back again to share a card I made using Flourishes Garden Picks, for my dear friend who got me something special for Christmas.  She was listening one night when we were at dinner when I was  telling her about something I wanted.  I opened my present to find she had got that something I had been asking for.  We are like 2 peas in a pod and I enjoy spending time with her.  We are similar in so many ways and the few differences that we have could not be further apart.  We have joked for a few years that we will be little old ladies in wheel chairs at the retirement home doing crafts together.  :)

This is the inside using Inside & Out Thank You.

I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday to help me along with the design.

JOY

If you celebrate, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I have 2 last Christmas cards to share with you.  This is it... Finally!  Thank God!  My husband got me some new embossing folders for Christmas that I had to put to use.  We had 2 snow days at school  before Christmas break so I did not get Collin's teachers cards out in time.  That gave me an opportunity to make a couple more for teachers that deserve a little something to let them know we were thinking of them at Christmas.

This one is on the pastel and more feminine side with my favorite color pink as the focus.

This one is more on the classic side using the same sketch with a totally different look.

Simply use the code MERRY12 in the coupon code box. All codes are case sensitive, so please use all caps, just like shown above. We should point out that this 25% off does not include Copic Markers due to Copic’s price mapping requirements for retailers like us. It also does not include gift certificates. Everything else is fair game  – even our Sale Page, which is already 50% off retail prices! So, check it out! This sale runs through the 30th of December. Another note to shoppers, we will be closing down the Flourishes store for a few hours on the 31st in order to do inventory. For about a 4 hour period, we will not be able to take or process orders. We will try to be as quick as possible!

I used the awesome sketch at Deconstructed Sketch for my cards.
