Spread Your Wings

Hello friends.  I had the best time making this card today.  I am in love with these colors together.  The wonderful Melissa Phillips from Lilybean's Paperie has this beautiful color challenge going on.  You have got to go take a look.

The photo is from A Creative Mint....the blog of a woman who is a fabulous photographer.

After seeing this ribbon on Melissa's blog last week I just had to order some for myself.  It came from Marilyn Healy's Etsy Shop.  Fabulos vintage goodies going on over there.

I used the sketch challenge from Get Sketchy.  It is the only sketch that I haven't done yet this week.

Supplies:
Carstock: PTI/ Vintage Cream
Patterned Paper: Old Anna Griffin
Tag: K & Co /  Que Sera Sera
Stamps: PTI/ Butterfly Dreams
Ribbon: Marilan Healy's Etsy shop
Lace: old scraps
Flower: Prima Fabric Fancies
Buttons: PTI

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you all have a great weekend.

Heather

It looks lovely as is, but you're right, pearls would absolutely do it justice! Can't wait to see the 'final' pics...

and I too eventually moved onto the obvious next step of tea POTS...they are just as pretty....and just as essential, right!!!lol

have a great weekend, thanks for coming by

Heather, what a beautiful card you created. The thought of orange and purple always seems so contrasting but you captured the softest hues of each and it just sings sweetness. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment.
