Wishing You Sunshine/Card Patterns

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I have a card to share with you for this weeks sketch challenge at Card Patterns.  We are sponsored by Meljen's Designs.  They have some very sweet digi images.

I haven't got into my craft room at all this week.  It has been over 100 F for over a week now.  I have to keep the blinds closed and the curtains drawn to keep the heat out.  The air conditioner can't even keep up.  A dark room is not very conducive for card making or any crafting for that matter.

Someone please tell me what I have done.  My croped pictures are blurry.  It just happend the last few posts.  I don't think I did anything to my camera.  I use picassa to edit my photos and I did change my blog template.  This is going to drive me crazy until I figure it out.  H E L P!  :)

I told you last week I was going to post a picture of the card my son had made me for my birthday.  Well I finally got a picture taken of it to post now.
Here is a picture of my sweet boy.  This was taken last year on his first day of school.  He is like me and doesn't care for his picture to be taken.  I guess I need to sneak more in.
Well that is all I have for today.  This week is not supposed to be as hot.  So I plan on getting in my room to make more cards.  My son starts school on Monday as well.

***If anyone got an extra Four of a Kind from PTI at CHA, I am would love to buy one.  Let me know.  Thanks***

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ Ripe Avacado
DP:Basic Grey
Stamps: Digi/Meljen's
Spelbinders: Standar Circles and scallop circles
Copics, ribbon, Ek Success border punch

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Heather

I simply adore how you can transform digital image stamps into works of art. This card is no exception, it is wonderful! Love it paired with your BG papers. And great card from your boy!

Cute cute cute! Love the way you take the digital and bring it to life! Not sure about the blurry pictures. They actually looked fine to me but then, I should be wearing reading glasses and I don't. So...will be curious to know why that's happening now. I am so computer challenged. Your son is a cutie and the card he made is too!

I am sympathizing with ya on the heat (and humidity!)... NC is supposed to get back up near 100 again in the upcoming week. I'm not a happy camper!

Both of these cards are delightful! Your son has an eye for design... the next "T!m", perhaps! He'll need to get used to the camera, though, LOL!

Don't know what's happening with the blurriness... I use an ancient version of Paint Shop Pro, so sorry to be of now help there.

I don't find your pictures blurry either. mine are blurry when I'm in the new post stage on blogger but they look clear on my blog. Since I'm next door to you in MS I know exactly what you mean about the heat. i just don't go out if at all possible. I love this image from Meljen. Actually had it in my basket but had to cut down my order to a reasonable amount. LOL you did a beautiful job with the image and the whole card! Your sons quite the little artist too!

Both cards are gorgeous as is your son ... I can't see any problem with your photos ... I use a Mac and have no probs with adjusting ... when I had windows I always use Adobe in preference to Picassa ... Maybe just the heat getting to you my friend ... yep you will have to fly over and join me .. XXX

I love what you've done with the Card Patterns sketch Heather! Your colouring of the toadstool image is fantastic-I just try not to look at mine too closely...! Your birthday card from your son is so sweet-one I'm sure you will keep always. It's funny hearing you describe the heat where you are-it's a lovely cold day where I am, I'm sitting by the heating whilst I type this!

HI HEATHER,
YOUR CARD DOES NOT LOOK BLURRY TO ME, YOUR CARD IS SO NICE. LOVE YOUR WORK, I KNOW I SAY THIS EVERYTIME, BUT IT IS SO TRUE. HEATHER, YOU DO BEAUTIFUL WORK. YOUR SON IS A HANDSOME LITTLE GUY, MY GRANDCHILDREN DON'T WANT THEIR PICTURE TAKEN TOO, I FIND MYSELF USING THE SAME PICTURES OF THEM OVER AND OVER. THEY GO BACK TO SCHOOL THE DAY AFTER LABOR DAY, BUT THEY DIDN'T GET OUT OF SCHOOL UNTIL JUNE 22. IT'S HOT HERE TOO, WE DID GET RELIEF, IT IS IN THE 80'S NOW, SOME DAYS HAVE MORE HUMIDITY...YUCK...
THAT'S THE WORST. HAVE A GREAT DAY, AND I HOPE YOU HAVE COOLER WEATHER. RIZZI

You know I was just discussing the blurry photo situation with Karen Thomas over at Luv to Stamp. It probably won't help...sounds like more of a blogger issue...but I'll send along the response I gave her. The world is a scary place when I'm asked for tech advice!

To tell you the truth...your cards are so beautiful I don't notice the blurries. I'm too busy drooling over them...seriously!
