I used my new MME papers from the Miss Caroline collection/dolled up/princess. Can you see that old EK Success border punch? It has been horribly neglected in a drawer for quite some time. It is so feminine and pretty, I just had to use it.
I always have a hard time coloring these sweet little birds. The pictures on Google images are all so different. I chose a more peachy color scheme for the flowers and card with a little green for the bird. We don't get many Humming Birds here. They migrate in the late summer through the Eastern part of the state, so we get a few stragglers here in the middle.

Oh Heather this is GORGEOUS!!~
I arrived just in time to see your brand new and, oh, so gorgeous card! You always use the prettiest designer papers, and that old, neglected border punch is fabulous. I vote it should make an appearance more often. I'll admit I've always been intimidated by hummingbirds when it comes to coloring them. I've only colored this one once and I agonized over it. I'll get around to it again. I think you did a beautiful job on him. The colors are very realistic.
Beautiful!!!!!!

Oh my, Heather...that hummingbird is amazing! You've blended the blues and greens so well, it look iridescent! Love the flower image too, as well as the dps and that border punch. I have seen that punch in the stores and thought about it, but then put it back. Guess I need to rethink that--it's gorgeous. ~Hugs, Cheryl
