I'm Here If You Need Me

It feels like it has been forever since I posted last!  Within a two week time frame I got into an accident on the way to work, my son passed out and got a concussion in P.E, and we had to euthanize our sweet cat who has been a member of our family for ten years.  Why does it always have to come in threes?!

So, on to my post for today.  I have two co-workers who had a parent pass away this last week.  The card I am sharing today is for a male co-worker who's father passed away last Saturday.  The other card, for a female co-worker, will be shared tomorrow.

I was anxiously awaiting my MFT order because I finally broke down and ordered two of the cover up dies.  I can see that these will be frequently used.  Now I am asking myself why did I wait so long to order these?

I typed up the sympathy quote in Word and printed it out for the inside of my card.  Sometimes I like to hand write on the inside and sometimes I will type something up.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

This is awfully pretty, Heather! Love the cover plate and the natural look of the flower with the die. The inside looks really nice, too, with the addition of the pretty little blossom. So lovely…I'm sure it will be appreciated! Take care of you and your family!!!

You've had a time of it lately! I hope you and your son are okay, and I'm so sorry about your cat. Our pets do become part of the family, don't they. Your card is beautiful! I like the blue text paper with the sideways text over it and the flowers. That's a wonderful quote on the inside, too. After seeing this card I might have to order a couple of cover up dies, too! It's a really classy look. ~Hugs!

Nice use of the sketch for this pretty card, Heather. I love this kind of die. Gosh, you've had a time of it. I hope your son is okay. Seems teens do occasionally pass out in school. I don't know why, but it happens. I'm sorry about his concussion. Very distressing for a mom. I was so sorry to hear about your sweet kitty, too. I hope things get better for you.
