Trigger Tuesday / Taylored Expression

Hello everyone.  I have been just a crackin' at the cards this weekend.  I got 5 cards made Saturday.  Woohoo!
I went back and touched up this image after I printed it.  I guess since it has probably been copied over a few times on the internet..it's color was very washed out.  I used my Copics and touched up her face with Pale Fruit Pink, her bonnett and dress shading with Neutral Grey, and the flowers with Light Orange, and yellow.  I also used Yellow Y06 to touch up her hair.  I should have taken pics before I touched it up so you could see the difference.  It was night and the light wasn't good.

I hadn't played along with fellow Iowan Taylored Expressions challenge in quite a while.  I've also never done a Trigger Tuesday.  So what better way than to do them together.  Right?  I loved the sketch and it fit perfectly with the image I got from Heartwarming Vintage blog.  This just came together perfectly.  I used all different Basic Grey papers...all different color greens.  Love it!

Supplies:
Cardstock: American Crafts
DP:  Basic Grey
Button: Basic Grey
Floss: Prism
Lace: Fabric store/by the yard

A Joyful Easter

Happy Monday!
I fell in love with  this Easter bunny image when I saw it.  I again had to touch it up with my Copics.  Practically the whole image was grey, with very little color.  I used Skin White and went over the bunny.  He was very faded.  I then took Yellow Green and touched up the grass and the tree...they were grey.  I also used Barium Yellow to touch up the baby chicks...they didn't have color either.
This card is for the Card Patterns sketch.  I had so much fun touching up these vintage images.  I think you will see alot more here in the future.  I found a new web site with TONS of images.  Stay Tuned!  :)

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI & American Crafts
DP: old Daisy D's
Image: Graphics Fairy-link on my side bar
Ribbon: Seam Binding from http://www.etsy.com/shop/MemrieMare
Button: from my ribbon I ordered above

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Have a great week!

CPS

Hello everyone.  Are you having a good weekend so far?  It is still dreary oustide.  We are suppose to get sunshine tomorrow.  I sure hope so, it has been about a week since we have seen sun.

I made this card for CPS.  I think this has to be the fasteset I have ever made a card.  I stamped these butterflies and was just playing around with coloring with my new Copics, when I knew as soon as I saw the CPS sketch I had to use them.  Butterflies are everywhere in the papercrafts world.  And I love my PTI Butterfly Dreams set.
I took this picture of my card on a beautiful handmade doily from Carmelina at Creative Carmelina.  You have got to go by and check out her blog.  It is so inspirational.  This woman is very talented.  Art Journals, Crochet, Inspirational writing.  She is selling her doilies for a great price...and the cards just look so lovely on a doily.  Don't you think?

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ Lemon Tart
DP: Basic Grey/ Kioshi
Stamps: PTI/ Butterfly Dreams
Copics
Crystals

Sunshine Award

I received this beautiful blog award from Mona at Cupcakes Creation's.  Mona has always been available for any questions I have asked of her.  I am inspired by her lovely creations that she seems to effortlessly put out.   Many of you may know her from Just Us Girls DT, Playdate Cafe DT, and My Time Made Easy LLC DT...and recently nominated Spellbinders DT.  She is a very busy girl.  I don't know how she manages to stay sane.  :)
Thanks again Mona... You're a doll!

Just Us Girls/Photo Color Challenge

Happy Monday!
Did everyone have a good weekend?  Didn't do much here but sit at home and make some cards.  It either rained or was dreary outside.  Which is why my photos are not that great.  I can't complain too much..it is getting warmer.

The card I made today was for the Just Us Girls sketch challenge and the color challenge was from the lovely Melissa Phillips' blog photo color challenge.

I just love the photos by Leslie at Creative Mint.  They're always so colorful and beautiful!

I found this old Daisy D's paper in one of my storage cubes.  I thought the patterned paper covers all the colors in the photo.  How lucky was that?  Since we are moving soon, I am coming across all kinds of oldies but goodies.  I thought the scalloped circle's pattern looks similar to the pattern around the color inspiration photo....kinda lacy.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ sweet blush, vintage cream
Patterned Paper: Daisy D's
scalloped Die Cut: K & Co/ Amy Butler
Stamp: K & Co/ Amy Butler
Ribbon: Seam Binding...This Etsy Shop
button, lace,flower,pearls
