Blog Awards

I have received 2 blog awards from 2 wonderful blog friends in other countries.  I am honored that they recognised me for these lovely awards.

The first is from the talented Neti from Bulgaria.  Her blog is full of wonderful creations.  Neti beads, makes cards and other beautiful crafty things.  You must stop by and visit.

The next award is from the talented Elena from Russia.  She makes the best flowers I have ever seen made before.  You wouldn't know they weren't real if she didn't show you how she makes them.  Stop by and take a look back a few posts and you will see what I am talking about.

Thank you so much ladies for thinking of me.  I enjoy visiting you and seeing your lovely creations.

Vintage Backgrounds by Nina/ 2 Sketches 4 You

I have a wonderful stamp set from Nina Brackett to share with you called Vintage Backgrounds.  I was so honored when Nina asked me to be her Guest Designer.  Unfortunately due to slow mail I didn't get them in time for the release the other night.

I used the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch for this card.  I am completely in love with this vintage background set.  I knew when I saw the set which one I was going to use first.  The tear drop shape is so shabby and it called my name.  hehe.  I can't wait to use the other stamps in this set.  You must go check it out over at Gina K  and see the wonderful digital papers too.  I used the Sweet Corn Bright and Grungy dots set.

Supplies:
Stamps: Gina K by Nina Brackett/ Vintage backgrounds
Paper: Gina K by Nina Brackett/ Bright and Grungy Dots
Seam Binding: BlueBird Lane
Flower: Jolees'
Crystals: Hero Arts
Stick Pin: I made it with my bead supply

Happy Birthday/Shabby Tea Room

Hello again.  How is everyone?  Do you  have any special plans this weekend?  My In-Laws are coming today to visit before we move.
The card I made  is for The Shabby Tea Room.  You had to use cream or white and one other subtle color.

I love how soft and feminine this turned out.  My husband said it looks like a wedding card.  I could very easily change the sentiment if that is what I wanted to give it for.
