City Crafter Challenge # 7

Hello everyone.  I am here to share with you my last card as DT at  City Crafter.  I used this adorable digi image from Digi Doodle Shop.  I thought this was the sweetest basket of flowers.  I love the different mix of roses, Lilacs, and Pansies.  June chose the challenge this week which is a button and a bow.
I am still practicing with the Copics.
Don't look too close.  Might have got out of the lines.  hehe
I sure will miss working with the girls at City Crafter.  They all have a wonderful style you definately need to check out.

Play Date Cafe / Just Us Girls / Mojo Monday

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone.  Do you have any special plans this weekend?  My brother and his family are coming over tonight for dinner.  We are having some nice weather today.  The humidity is farily low and it isn't too hot. I made a card for 3 challenges.   The Playdate Cafe has a pretty color challenge and JUGS has a dry embossing technique challenge and the sketch is from Mojo Monday

I made the flower out of tissue paper and the color is a lot prettier in person than it shows up in the picture.
I sprayed the doily with 2 different Glimmer Mist colors.  I also cut the tag out on my Circut using Bags Tags Boxes and More

Supplies:
Cardstock:  PTI/ Vintage Cream
DP: Basic Grey
Seam Binding: Memrie Mare
Cuttle Bug: Embossing Folder

Card Patterns/ Stitched with Love

Hello my wonderful blog friends.  Are you having a great week so far?  I saw these fabulous new digi images the other day and just knew I had to have a go at them.  If you know me and my blog I am not a huge digi user.  No reason in particular...I think I am not the best with the Copics, so I stay away.  I need to practice and what better way than with Stitched With Love from the wonderful designer Nina Brackett.

You can visit Nina's blog here.
I made this card for Card Patterns.  Perfect sktch for my digi image...don't ya think?

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI

City Crafter Challenge # 6

Hello again!  It is time for another challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog and the theme is a recipe.  1 ribbon, 2 papers, and 3 flowers.  I made my card using an adorable vintage image from The Vintage Moth.

I made another pin and decided to use a copper toned one.  What do you think?  I think it looks more vintage with that metal tone.  I also used my tea stained twill that I dyed myself.  I just think I am not into trying to dye seam binding.  That is too much of a mess.  I wouldn't be happy if I have dye everywhere.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ Kraft
DP: Cosmo Cricket/ Fly a Kite & Thrift Shop
Image: Vintage Moth
Stamp: PTI/ Big and Bold Wishes
Other: Flowers, Pearls, Hand Dyed Seam Binding

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Play Date Cafe # 30

Happy Friday everyone!  I love Fridays.  I just hope my son sleeps in tomorrow morning.  Since we moved he has to get up an hour early and getting up at 5:30 am is just too early for me.

My Friend Mona has picked a beautiful color combination this week at the PDCC.  I love these colors together.  It just screams spring!

I am in love with my new PTI sets Anniversary and Just For You.  I will definitely be using these alot.  Hope you don't get tired of seeing them.  Look at the vine on my little tag.  LOVE IT!
I made another pin using some of my mom's Swarovski crystals.  I like making my own better because they don't have the point at the end.  I use head pins and put the beads on and then put a dab of glue at the end of the beads.  That's all!  Easy peasy.  What do you think?  If you make some of your own I would love to see.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ Spring Moss, Stampers White
DP: Basic Grey
Stamps: PTI/ Anniversary 2009, Just For You
Ink: PTI/ Spring Moss, Pink( Martha Stewart)
Seam Binding: Memerie Mare
Ribbon: Green, Target
Pin: Handmade by Me
Border Punch: Fiskars/ Apron Lace
Other: Button, Twine(PTI)

Thanks so much for visiting me today.
