I had the hardest time centering this stamp image. I had to restamp it 3 times. I think I might have to start standing when I stamp that way I see from the top and not at an angel. Do you have any suggestions for stamping? How do you do it? I do have a Fiskars acrylic stamper with little spongy feet that spring back so you get an even image. I do like that. I also have the We R memory keepers magnetic mat with all the measuring lines on it too. They both come in handy. I guess it is just technique that I am lacking.
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI/ ripe avacado
Patterned paper: Cosmo Crickit/ everafter
Stamp: PTI/ Big and Bold Wishes
Ink: PTI Sweet Blush
Ribbon: unknown
Button: Basic Grey
Thanks for stopping by everyone,
Heather

very pretty!! love the flower and colors!
Wow, this is gorgeous! That image is beautiful stamped on the designer paper, and I love the flower embellishment! Thanks for playing the Throwdown!
Very pretty!! Love the crocheted flower! I also had a hard time lining up my stamps. Having some grid paper and a big acrylic block with gridlines on it helped me a lot.
this is a fabulous card, I really like the flower...great job...have a wonderful day!
enjoy *~*
sweet card, Heather! love the crocheted and buttoned embellishment:)
sweet!! did you crochet that flower yourself?? I keep saying I am going to learn to crochet just so that I can make me some of those cute little flowers instead of paying like $9 for a pack!! LOL Any way your creation for these two challenges is really great!! Thank for playing along with the CTD challenge!!
sweet card, heather, and i do stand up when stamping-i think it helps alot!
I also stand up to stamp, but stamping up makes something to use to help center your stamps. I have never tried it though. I like the crocheted flower!
Pretty card! I like your sweet flower. Yup! Standing can really make a difference when stamping. I sit to create, usually, but if I'm having trouble with an image, I always stand up. :> Have a great weekend....okay, okay....so its only Thursday, but I'm aching for TGIF! :>
I sometimes stand when I stamp---I also actually measure sometimes! I also use a stamp-a-ma-jig..but I think you did just fine! What a beautiful flourish! Your card is beautiful! Thanks for playing the CTD with us--hope you thaw out! We here in PA saw all the ice you were having in IA!
Gorgeous card Heather! Love the crocheted fleurette!
Gorgeous card Heather, love that flower, so very pretty. Loving the look of the blog too, don't you just love changing things up? I sure do! Thankyou for the lovely comments, you always make my day!
Try a stamp-a-ma-jig to help center it. I have never used one, but they are cheap and kristina werner has a tutorial on yotube on how to use one. Here's the link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH706N8w5gU. Congrats on making the Fab 5 BTW!
Congrats for top five at 2S4Y. The card is lovely and of course I love the colors. If you have a hard time centering you can also cut the paper a little bigger, stamp , then cut it to fit what you need! You may waste a little paper, but not the whole thing! You did a great centering job, you are the one who really notices!
Very pretty! Love that flower embellishment! Thanks for playing the Color Throwdown!
Hi Heather! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am in Des Moines..by Easter lake..so we are practically neighbors!
Beautiful card you made there!..My cure for stamp placement..clear stamps LOL!...though I do LOVE the details you get on wooden images...
I have a craft area that is kitchen cabinet height so I am standing a lot..(Love it).
There is a thing called a stampamajig? I know they carry it at Archivers and Outstamping By Designs at Valley Junction. I will have to be on the lookout for you in the craft stores :0)
Congrats on fab 5 at 2s4y! Well deserved, love the flower and please don't be hard on yourself when it comes to stamping, you did a wonderful job! I would perhaps use a bigger paper and cut it after you have stamped the image! TFS!
