update

I wanted to let everyone know that I am okay. We had over a hundred tornadoes touch down here in northern Alabama with over a hundred dead. Over a million homes without electricity and they are saying that it will be at least 5 days until it is back. I am bummed. I had so much to share with you over the next few days. I am on my hubbys phone right now and not very good at using this thing. All the food I just bought at the store is ruined. All the stores and gas stations are closed as well. Wish me luck and say a prayer.

Hugs to you all

Heather

So glad that you are safe and well, Heather! I live in North Texas and thankfully, those storms hit mostly south of where I live. I have been watching everything on the news and praying for everyone in GA, AL, TN and MI. I have freinds in B'ham and have not heard if they are okay. I hope your power is back on soon. I know what it's like to be without for over a week and it's no fun! Your card is fantastic, by the way!

Heather! I am ecstatic to hear you are ok!!! OMG, the devastation in Alabama is astounding and I'm praying for you and all those affected. I can't even imagine…
We experienced some of the storm here in eastern TN but we we SO LUCKY to come away with only hail and wind damage. There were smaller tornadoes that touched down in areas nearby. The number of storms and tornadic activity that have been reported in AL have been INSANE.
Take care - I can't imagine how difficult the next few days are going to be but I am so glad you are ok. I hope that there is a reprieve from all that horrendous weather. Take care. My best to you and your family.

Six months ago, before i began blog-hopping and did not really even know what a blog was (I am still not really a good blogger), I didn't "know" so many people across the nation and around the world and I didn't know I would be worried about so many people I have never actually met! I am new to your blog but I am praying for your safety. I watch the news about all the devastation (100 tornadoes?) in your area and i just cringe. I would do that anyway of course, but now i feel like I "know" people there, it is not all strangers. Sending you prayers and cyber hugs!
