Sending You Sunshine

Hi there!  I finally got some time in my craft room to create something just for fun.  Today is in service day for the teachers, so that means I have the day off work since I am an associate.  After over 2 1/2 months of 90's, the weather has cooled off nicely and didn't get above 65 today.  I took advantage and made some zucchini bread that I had been waiting to make for 2 weeks.

I saw Stacy's challenge over at the Curtain Call and they are asking you to use Sunflowers.  I had a hard time trying to find some fall papers to use.  I haven't been impressed with any of the holiday paper packs the last two years, so I decided to use something I already had on hand.  I used a PTI set called Simple Sunflower mini stamp set.

I used the sketch over at Cardabilities for my design.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

Oh, what a nice day off! I love the combo of papers on your card and that pretty sunflower stamp. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers to stamp... along with violets, tulips, roses.... etc., etc., etc. : ) Enjoy your zuchinni bread! : )

Glad you had such a good day, and YUM! I love zucchini bread! Love your card, too! Plaid is one of my fav patterns, and this plaid dp is gorgeous. Love the accent pieces, too. I hadn't heard of Curtain Call before...I need to check it out!

What a great card. I know I tell you that a lot, but I really love this color combo with the plaids...swoon! Aren't you glad that terrible heat broke? My poor son is at college in a dorm without air! He was sweatin' for a few weeks!
