JOY

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the Flourishes Christmas release.  Today we are showing Peace & Joy.   Wonderful words surrounded by flourishy swirls create an elegant and contemporary look to send Christmas wishes. This set, illustrated by Becky Fleck offers two main images plus two accent stamps to create just the most unique holiday creations. Set measures 4" by 6".

As you can see I made a Christmas wall hanging.  I love making these, they are so much fun.  I colored and cut around the sentiment and adhered it to some paper cut with my Spellbinders dies.  Several supplies are from the Flourishes store.  Supplies: Spellbinders dies/Classic Petal, Ribbon/Satin Finish Cotton in Latte, Blin/Want 2 Scrap Classy Corners, Copic Collection/ Water.

Speaking of cut files, we have some EXCITING news to share! Four out of the five sets released this week have a Silhouette Cameo cut file available as well. AND, for those folks who asked for SVG files so that they could also use our cut files in other digital cutting machines, we say — you asked, we answered! We now have all of our cut files available in an SVG format as well! Just click HERE to visit these files in the Flourishes store! These digital downloads are purchased from the store and upon completion of your order, you’ll receive a link to download your cut files. We think these will add so much fun when creating!

Have A Beauty-Ful Birthday/ CR84FN52

Hello blog friends!  Are you having a good weekend?  I have a card to share that I made using the new CR84FN colors for this week.  I just love pastels and how romantic it always makes a card look.  Plus it is easy to embellish when the colors are softer...at least for me it is.

I finally bought some of the Spellbinders Border dies.  LOVE THEM!  OMG...what have I been missing?  I love that you can mix and match them.  I did not fully understand how they work, until I got them home and played around with them.  I can see I will need more!  See that pretty label stamp set?  That is Lovely Labels 18 designed by Nina Brackett for The Craft's Meow.

Don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team's blogs.  I know they have some fabulous designs for you to be inspired by.

CR84FN 51

Hello again.  Sorry I have not been around the last few days.  My hard drive is broken on my laptop, so I have not been able to get online much.  This means sharing the desktop with my hubby and son.  I do have a card I made for the new colors at CR84FN.  This week we have some pretty pastels for you to work with.

I used the new Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1 from Flourishes as well as some Nina B designed bling from Want 2 Scrap.  Papers are a mix of different My Minds Eye.  Spellbinders dies are Petite Ovals LG & SM.

Exciting news:
We have 2 fabulous new team members.  Please welcome Shannon and Pauline!  I am so excited to have both ladies join the team.  Their work is amazing and both have been regulars at CR84FN, so it only makes sense to add the girls to the team, right?

Before and After

Hello!  I told you I would be back today with a post on my craft space.  Well it is much smaller than it was before I moved.  Before when we lived in Iowa I had half the basement.  Well, in Alabama basements are almost unheard of.  So I have 1/4 of the space I use to have.
Before:
I got these cubes at Target and Michaels.  I had enough room for 4 people to sit and create before along with 2 bookshelves and a wall mounted case my sweet hubby made for me.  Well, there is only room for 1 now.  I think I counted that I had 30 off these cubes all put together in a really cool layout.  I only have 8 of them here.  The rest are in storage along with the rest of my stuff.
Stuff everywhere!
I am so embarrassed.  hehe  But
I am sure there are a lot of you who's area looks very similar right now...am I correct?

After:
Notice the tail hanging out from my chair?  She loves to sit there and look out the window.  Then I sit there and have cat hair all over my bottom.   I love sitting in front of the window, I get a lot of natural light.   I even hung pretty light and airy curtains.  That is a vintage chair.  That was one of my first vintage purchases 10 years ago.  Y'all know how much I like Shabby/Vintage stuff!
All my glitter lined up by the colors of the rainbow.
My Mother In Law quilts and these are her beautiful creations.  I try and get some every time I go visit.  She is the most amazing quilter.  I am totally jealous.
I have a scrap drawer but it is so full I had to have a scrap basket.  I also just pull up my chair to the sewing machine and it works perfectly.  Not my ideal space but this is what I have to work with for now.
And this is the sweet face to the tail in the picture above.  She lays on the floor when I am crafting.  She is such a sweetheart.  Her name is Callie and she is a very skinny Mane Coon.  She has always been that way.  I have always left her bowl out for her to eat whenever she likes.  I guess she has a fast metabolism
