Make A Wish

Hello, and happy Sunday!  I am back to share a cute little birthday card I made using some new PTI stamps that I ordered myself for my birthday.  I used the current, pretty color combo from Color Throwdown.  This Confetti Toss stamp set gave me a run for my money.  Figuring out how to stamp it so it looked random, was no easy chore.  I used PTI inks in Lilac Grace, Sweet Blush, and Aqua Mist.

Floral Sketches

Good morning!  I told you I would be back.  I was home sick with a sinus infection, yesterday.  I went to the doctor and he prescribed me an antibiotic and steroids.  Let me tell you...I came home and cleaned for a couple hours then proceeded to sit down and craft for several hours.   I can't believe the energy I had within forty-five minutes of taking the steroids.  Then I was up half the night as well. Sigh

I played along with two different challenges with this card. A color challenge and an inspirational challenge.  Links and graphics are below.

I stamped the background in the back using PTI's Tin Types, the script was stamped using Background Basics: Text Type, and the stripe is from an MFT set that is no longer available.  Those pretty flowers from one of my favorite new floral sets from PTI called Floral Sketches. Various inks were used on the flowers and leaves.  I am building my ink pad collection at the moment.  The majority of my previous work was coloring with Copics, so I didn't need too many ink pads.

Here is the gorgeous graphic for the color challenge I participated in.

And here is the pretty inspiration photo for the other challenge.

That's all I have today, but I have several other cards to post as well.  I'll be back soon!

Thank You/ Color Throwdown, CPS, Wee Memories

Guess what I did for the first time?  I stitched seam binding ruffles on my card.  I didn't even practice.  I just stuck it up there and away I went.  What do you think?  Turn out ok?  I was pleasantly surprised.  I am not a  risk taker so for me to just stitch on the actual card without practice was a huge risk!
I made the card for this weeks challenges at Color Throwdown , andCPS.  I loved these colors and had to play along. Also my blog friend Jenny at Wee Memories has a challenge for stitching on your card.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Hello.  I was dying to get back to making more cards.  I moved some of my paper crafting supplies upstairs.  I had a big set up in the basement but, it is just too cold and there was not enough light.  This winter is lasting too long if you ask me.  I found myself not wanting to go down and make any cards because it is freezing in the basement even with the heat on.  This is much better.  Alot less space, but more inviting.

I made a card for the Color Throwdown and the Mojo Monday challenges.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Paper Reflections~craft & PTI~ sweet blush/ spring rain
Patterned paper: PTI pretty pastels
Stamp: PTI Blooming Button Bits and Turning a New Leaf & Polka Dot Basics
Scalop circle: Nestabilities
Border punch: Fiskars  ~apron lace
Butterfly: Cricut cartridge~ Indie Art
Ink: PTI~ sweet blush & Versa Magic ~ Aspen Mist
Ribbon: repurposed

I've been thinking about you

Hello again.  I made another card last night with my new PTI goodies.  I just love the new stamps I got.  I used the color challenge from Color Throwdown and the sketch from 2 sketches 4 you.  I didnt think it was going to turn out very well, but I was pleased with the end result.  I am really liking the new Rustic Cream cardstock from Papertrey Ink.  I stamped the sentiment under the flowers, but it is the light blue color and didnt show up very well on camera.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI Vintage Creme, Rustic Creme, and Sprinng Moss
Ink: PTI/ Spring Moss, & Tsuniniko/Eggplant, Light blue
Stamps: PTI/ Blooming Button Bits, Turning a New Leaf
Buttons: Basic Grey
Ribbon: Making Memories
Patterned Paper: K and Company
Envelope: PTI Vintage Creme A2
Floss: DMC

Have a great night.  Thanks for stopping by.
