Sweet Sunday Sketch 240

Hello!  I have a card to share that I made Sunday afternoon while crafting with my friend, Marsha.  She's a Stampin' Up demo and always shares her stamp goodies with me.  For this card I went with several layers on the flowers.  Let's just say that I used a good bit of foam tape.  Ha!

With the card laying down, you can see all the layers on the flowers and sweet little butterfly.  The card base is popped up using foam tape as well.

If you have any questions about the products I have used, you can give Marsha and email and she will gladly point you in the right direction.

I used the sketch at Sweet Sunday for my creation.

Valley Graduation 2014/Girl

Wow!  It's been a week since I posted last.  I've been super busy preparing for the summer break from school.  I am in need of a couple graduation cards for two kids in our classroom that will be graduating on the 25th.  This one is for a girl who shares my passion for crafting.  Hopefully she will appreciate this as much as I hope she does.

It's been quite a while since I have used my PTI stamps, they were collecting a lot dust.  I remember when all the Mat Stack stamps and matching dies came out, they were all the craze at the time.  I love how the limitless layers dies coordinate so well with the various label sets.  You will be seeing more of these in the future.  I am addicted again!

Sherbet Thank You

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all who celebrate today.  I took a couple hours out of my afternoon to head to my craft room and create a few cards.  I keep using this patel combo of purple and teal.  I must love it because I didn't realize until after I was finished that I had used it again.  Ha!  If I had a lighter shade of orange I would have used it.  I think this orange is a bit dark compared to the inspiration photo and the other pastel colors used.

I love these pretty sherbet colors together.  I found this color palette at Design Seeds.

So Glad our Friendship has Bloomed

I had so much fun combining these colors.  I have been trying to step outside the normal color palette that I have used for years and experiment with new color combos.  I ordered the MFT Cardstock Sampler a couple months ago and I LOVE it.  This allows you to try new colors without the commitment of buying a whole package of one color and then not liking it.

I still had the typewrite background stamp on my desk from the card I posted the other day.  This time I stamped the same colored ink as the cardstock.  I like just the small piece of patterned paper on this card.  It brings all the colors together.  Don't ya think?  ;)

Sweet Sunday 213

Hello, my sweet blog friends!  The card I am sharing today is one that I made for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  You are to make a 5.5" x 3.5" in card.  I don't think I have ever made anything smaller than an A2 or a Square 5"x5"in card.  This actually looks kind of cute!  As you can see below, I made a matching tag to go with my card.

I popped the yellow flower up with some some dimensional adhesive.  I have become addicted to the Scotch brand that you can find at your local craft store.  It is just the right thickness...not too thick and not too think.

Here is the cute little tag I created using a variety of MFT stamps and die-namics .

Here they are together.  You can really tell how small the card is in comparison to the tag.
