Wishing You A Quick Recovery

Good afternoon!  I have a couple cards to share with you that I made for some of my coworkers, that are having surgery.  I used the same basic design, just varied the stamps.

The above card background was stamped using an MFT background stamp and PTI Lavender Moon ink.  The flowers were stamped in Lavender Moon, Lilac Grace, and Melon Berry, while the leaves were stamped in Spring Moss.  Cardstock is Spring Moss and Stamper's Select White.

The card below was made using Lavender Moon and Lilac Grace cardstock.  I stamped the sweet butterflies from Butterfly Dreams in matching ink on the Lavender Moon and Background Basics is stamped on the Lilac Grace in the matching PTI ink.  The Darling Butterfly is stamped in Lavender Moon and Melon Berry with added Stickles for some glitter.

Just A Few Cards

Hello and happy Sunday!  I wanted to pop in and share a few cards that I have made over the last couple weeks.  Creating and not having any kind of pressure as to what and when I blog has been nice.  I found that the creative process is a lot more enjoyable.

This first card is using MFT dies.  The retired butterfly die set from Mona Pendleton, aren't they adorable?!  The layers are cut using Wonky Stitched Rectangle die STAX.

This second card is using PTI Noted: Scalloped A2 die collection, and Brushed Blooms stamp set.

Finally, the third card is using the same Scalloped A2 die set as above, and the darling Graceful Greetings stamp set and coordinating dies.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Hello again!  I loved my MFT Poinsettia die so much that I had to use it again.  This time I used the Fusion Card Challenge and chose to work off of the sketch.

A little glitter cardstock gave my card the added sparkle I was looking for.

Season's Greetings

Wow!  It's been two months since I posted last.  To be quite honest, I haven't felt much like stamping the last several months. If it weren't for the need of some Christmas cards I would probably not have made a card. It took me a few minutes working on this card and then it all came back to me.

I saw the sketch on the MFT blog and wanted to use my pretty Poinsettia die-namics.  I went rather simple and flat to ensure I would only need one stamp.  ;)

SUPPLIES: *MFT must have changed all the links to their products.  None of the links take you to the product, but you can see each product I have used and search the site.

Here is the MFTWSC sketch I used for my Christmas card.

Get Well Soon...take care of yourself

Wow!  It's been over a month since I posted last!  I can't believe how fast the summer has come and gone.  School has started back and I am back to working.  With the beautifully, mild summer we had, I didn't have the desire to coop myself up in my craft room.  I did however, want to make a card for a co-worker who is in the hospital.  I was shocked at how fast this card came together.  With the awesome sketch at MFT, this was a breeze to create.

I searched for a card in my stash to give, but they were all too girly and I was in need of a masculine card.  This color palette seemed to be manly enough, in my opinion.

MFT Color Palette Challenge #7

Hello again!  It's been a month since I posted last.  This summer has been very busy for me and school will be back in session before you know it.  I'm looking forward to a new school year and being able to see the kids from last year as well as meet the new kids starting in the fall.  I count myself lucky to have a job that I enjoy going to each day.

With that being said, I have a card to share that I made nearly three weeks ago and didn't have the time to post.  MFT has their color palette challenge up and there is only a few days left to play along.  I squeaking in under the wire.

The yellow and orange patterned papers were stamped using MFT stamps.  I have loved creating my own patterned papers with their array of stamp designs.  One can NEVER have too many birthday cards, right?  Now if i can only remember to send them out and not let them accumulate in my craft room, I'd be golden.
