Thank You / Playdate Cafe & 2 Sketches 4 You

Happy Friday everyone!  I have another Thank You card to share with you.  I think you can never have enough Thank You cards.  Giving someone a card to say thanks means alot more than just saying it.  Especially one you have made.  Don't you agree?
I did stamp the background.  I got the idea from the talented Mona.

The card is for the wonderful color challenge over at The Playdate Cafe.  Mona did a fabulous job choosing the colors this week.  If you haven't played there yet you should go check it out.  Julie has the prettiest blog challenge.  So feminine and pretty.  I used the bonus sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You

I hope I can squeeze a couple more cards in before we move.  There are a couple more challenges that I HAVE to participate in.  I think Tuesday will be the last day I can make anything.  Starting Wednesday I will have to pack the rest of everything in the house.  My wonderful husband has been doing most all of the packing.  :)  I just wanted to tell all of you how wonderful you are and how much I enjoy reading all of you comments you leave for me each day.  I have met alot of amaing women here in blogland.  You all truely make my day.

Thank You / CPS 161

Hello!  How is your week going so far?  Mine is pretty good.  My husband has been packing and I have been making cards.  My craft supplies will be the last to get packed and loaded and the first to get unloaded and unpacked.
This card is for CPS sketch challenge.  I just made a card so similar to this the other day.  If I would have known I would have waited to post it.  Oh well, it gives me a reason to make another card.
I used a piece of lace for the 3 small circles.
This is another one of those wonderful tags that came with my seam binding order from the lovely Bluebird Lane Etsy shop.
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI: Rustic Cream
DP: DCWV/ Linen Closet
Stamp: Hero Arts
Butterfly: Martha Stewart punch
Lace: Making Memories

Happy Easter everyone!
I made this card for my friend that I mentioned in my last post.  I saw that the Shabby Tea Room had a challenge using scraps.  The lace, seam binding and sentiment are both scraps as well as the purple paper.  I repurposed the tag that came with my wonderful seam binding from Bluebird Lane Etsy.

Many Thanks / Curtain Call...Nina Brackett

Hello.  Do you have any special plans for Easter tomorrow?  We will be spending Easter with my best friends family for the last time before we move.  I am lucky enough to have such a great friend who is willing to let my family celebrate most holidays with hers since mine is so far away.

                                                                     HAPPY EASTER

So, I made this card for the Curtain Call challenge and for Nina Brackett's sketch and EBTS challenge.  I am posting this too late for the Curtain Call challenge.  I thought I had until Sat night and it was due Friday night.  I am posting it anyway.  I love Nina's sketch so much I have made a few cards with this sketch.

Hello everyone!  This is my first Friends with Flair blog hop.  I found my first new Unity stamp at Archivers.  I loved the image and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.  The master list is at Unity's Blog.

Hope you enjoyed my creations.  I appreciate you taking the time to stop by my blog.

New Seam Binding

Oh my!  Guess what girls?  I ordered some new seam binding the other day from a wonderful Etsy shop I found called Blue Bird Lane.  Look at the lovely seam binding and the pretty packaging it came in.  I was so excited...just like Christmas.
This is the front of the bags.
This is the back of the bags.
There are 3 different colors 5 yards each for $6.00.  Total of 15 yards.
They even came with these beautiful postcard copies...some even with 2 of them.  I will definately be ordering from her alot more often.  The price was awesome too.  I know what I will be doing tomorrow....making pretty cards with my lovely new seam binding.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heather
