Sending You Birthday Wishes

I have been lazy the past few days and haven't created much.  I feel guilty when I do that.  All that crafty goodness just sits in my craft room waiting to be used.  I did get in there to make a card for the new CR84FN color challenge. This week we are celebrating Mona's birthday.  Happy Early Birthday!  Make sure to stop by and wish her a Happy Birthday!  It also just so happens to be her wedding Anniversary this week as well.

I know I just used this butterfly from PTI,  I just can't help myself really.  They are the prettiest butterflies I have ever seen.  I also used the die from Sending You and Turning a New Leaf.  The border punch is Effervesence from Fiskars.  The paper is from Crate Paper and My Minds Eye.  Ribbon is from Michales and twine is PTI.

I took this picture so you can see how I go about choosing my papers for a color challenge.  I pull out all my scraps of each color that is in the graphic and mix and match until I find what appeals to me the most.

Here is the beautiful graphic for you crafty inspiration.

I used the sketch at Mojo Monday to get me started.  I did have to make a couple changes to the design to make it work.  So it is loosely based.  :)

I like seeing how people decide on card designs - so nice to see all the papers spread out like that :) I have papers that I get out, look at and the put away!

This is a super card; I do like the papers you used and the butterfly is really gorgeous! Like the string in the ribbon too - gives lovely texture!

What a yummy card, Heather! I love this palette! And I don't blame you for using that lovely butterfly again. I'd do the same thing. It was interesting to see how you select your papers. If I tried to do that, I'd have paper spread out all over the house! LOL

Hugs,
Anniebee
