CR84FN 36

What a lazy Saturday I have had today.  It felt great to just sit and watch a little TV today.  With school starting this week and all the running around I've had to do, I really needed a lazy day.  I plan on getting in my craft room and making a card or two on Sunday.

I have a card to share with you that I made for the new CR84FN color challenge.  I was so excited when I saw all the new My Minds Eye Lost and Found 6x6 packs of paper.  I had to order them all.  I used the new Sunshine pack for this one.  LOVE the papers and I am afraid I am an addict.

Again I used the new Iconic Images set from PTI.  I wanted to use the sketch at Mojo Monday and was in need of a smallish image to fit inside the doily die.  The beautiful Silhouette was perfect.

OMGoodness!  Read the quote Scott found for the graphic this week.  I totally live by this rule.  I would be a mess if I worried about everything that comes around.  I have to tell this to myself a lot.  I used to suffer from severe anxiety after my son was born and found that if I live by this rule I can keep myself in line.  I even had to go to the emergency room because I thought I was having a heart attack.  I wore a heart monitor for a few days and found out that it wasn't my heart...it was anxiety.  I tell ya, worry and stress can and will make you physically sick.  When I look at these colors I think of a bright beautiful sunny day.  Who can stress about that?

This is so pretty, Heather! Gorgeous stamp! In the first photo, I thought the card was orange, but in the second it's yellow, hi hi. Seeing the inspiration photos, I think it's yellow! ;-D But I love it in either color, just beautiful!

Positively GORGEOUS Heather!!! WOW! Love your use of the cameo image! The DP is fabulous!

I try {try} to live by that rule as well. Some days it works better than others!!! I've also been trying in recent years to not worry about things before they happen (i.e. don't anticipate the worst possible scenario before you have more information). Again, it works most days and I'd like to think I'm happier for it. Anxiety can reek havoc on your physical and mental health for sure.

That paper IS pretty and you've made such a beautiful card with it! I love that you've put together so many things with dots...the designer paper, the doily, the border punch, and even the silhouette on a circle. Goes along with all the spools in the CR84FN challenge perfectly. Glad you had such a nice, lazy day Saturday. We all need one of those every now and then. ;)

This is just beautiful Heather!!! I could NOT wait to see all these new papers in person.....my local scrapbook store got them in Friday and I ran to see them. I could have easily taken them ALL home but this one and a couple of others came home with me.....something about the yellow!
