Bring Back Beautiful/ Neutral Beauty

It  is time for another Bring Back Beautiful Challenge.  Let me tell you that I was totally intimidated...also let me tell you how easy this came together.  I enjoyed this challenge more than any I have ever done before.

Neutral Beauty: Have you ever used neutral colors to bring out the depth in one of your coloring projects? Well, let's kick it up a notch and show you just how beautiful your stamped creations can be without any color at all! That's right, this challenge is to color up your card with neutrals - shades of grey, sepia tones or even black and white! Link up your Bringing Back Beautiful Challenge card HERE to enter. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword BBB08. You have until March 31st to enter! As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge! Winners will be featured on the Flourishes Blog and will receive a True Beauty blog button to display proudly on their blog!

I used the beautiful Cherry Blossom set.  It was perfect for this challenge.  I used Copic markers colors E31, E35, E37, W1, N0, 0.  Paper from Websters Pages/Market, My Minds Eye/ Mabel.  Cardstock from PTI/Rustic White, and American Crafts/Espresso color.  Spellbinders die in Fleur De Lis Rectangels, and White Baby Pearls  from Want 2 Scrap.  Ribbon/ Fine Linen from PTI, Twine and button are from my stash.  Tim Holtz Distress Inks were used inside the die/ Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.  Memento inks in Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa were also used.  I also used the sketch this week at Card Patterns.

***GIVEAWAY***
I am having a giveaway.  I am honored that so many of you take time out of your day to stop by and leave me some love.  This is my way of saying THANK YOU!  I have a 6x6 pack of paper from Webster's Pages called Market.  It actually has 3 collections inside and each piece is double sided.  I also have a stamp set from my all time favorite company called Seeds of Friendship from Flourishes.  All you need to do to qualify is leave a comment (make sure you have your blog name and email address).  I will pick using Random Number Generator and I will announce the winner in two weeks.  I will ship internationally as well.  So it is open to everyone.  I would never leave anyone out.  Love you all!
(If you do not want to be entered into my giveaway, please still leave a comment and just indicate that in there.)

The girls on the team have amazing samples for you to look at.  Please make sure you stop by and take a look.  They will knock your socks off.

Julie

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

Hi! I just found your blog from Beate's blog. No, I have never used neutrals to color depth. It is a very interesting concept and I have loved seeing what others can do with their coloring. This is a beautiful card. Lovely giveaway. I don't have a blog so I don't know if that eliminates me from the giveaway.
God bless,

Hi Heather
Forgot to say about the verse's I do these on my PC then print out and choose whatever font you like and size, I find it really useful it's great for male cards I think it's easier to just put a verse or poem on front of card, but then I do love wording on a card!! thanks for your kind words take care Lots Hugs
