May Peace Find You This Day

I am back to share the other sympathy card I was in need of making.  I am on the fence about the navy blue cardstock.  It seemed like a good idea at the time as I was using a color inspiration board from my Pinterst.  Maybe I needed to incorporate the blue again somewhere else on my card.  I am so bad...do you ever do this to yourself too?

I stamped the flowers on the inside and left myself plenty of room to write a personal note.

SUPPLIES:

I used the MFTWSC #165 sketch.

Here is the color board I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Heather

Lovely sympathy card Heather! I think we all second guess ourselves! A bit more navy would be pretty, but this is great too!

i looooove the navy. what a great color board inspiration....might try that one. lovely card, too Heather. Maybe a small navy button down with the sentiment flag, would give it the balance you were looking for. I think it is pretty.

A Beautiful card Heather, I think the navy gives it a nice grounded look, perhaps a little touch around the flower area would make you happier with it : Have a wonderful week.

Oh, I do love the navy and coral colors! My friend's daughter are having these colors for her wedding next year! Lovely flower and great design for this thoughtful sympathy card, Heather!

I think it looks lovely!! I always seem to prefer a white base card ... no matter how much I try to use another colour ... unless it's ombre ... I just can't do it ... yet everyone else's look fabulous!

I know what you mean. Yes you could have add something blue somewhere else on your card. But it still looks lovely this way. Don't be too hard on yourself. It turned out a lovely card and the recipient will love it. You put your time, effort and love in this card and that shows off. I think you are very talented. I am not into coloring myself and always loved to look at your cards. But with another style I am still a fan:) This is another handmade gem. Hugs!

I can see why you would want to use this color inspiration. It's very pretty and makes me think of summer. We are terrible about second guessing. You are a gifted card artist, and if you think you it needs another touch of navy, then you're probably right. I would think it is perfect if you hadn't mentioned it.
